Ganirelix instead of suprecur
hi everyone Today I called my clinic to start my frozen embryo transfer. The nurse advised me that they have ran out of stock of suprecur and I have the alternative option to use Ganirelix. Have anyone used this alternative and know of any difference or any positives/negatives I may need to think

Still no period following prostap injection
hi ladies, I am going through another IVF cycle/FET. I had my prostap injection on day 23 of my cycle and usually my period has arrived 10 days after that. It’s now 15 days since the i jectio. And still no sign of my period. I have my baseline scan Thursday and concerned that my lining will not be thin

*Sensitive* BFP 10DP5DT and 11DP5DT worried about lines
Hi everyone, Looking for a little advice. My OTD is in 3 days but as my partner is going away for work, we decided to test a little early. The first line was 10DP5DT taken in the afternoon, the second line is FMU on 11DP5DT and I’m not sure whether it’s darker or whether either are dark enough for the

Late period after egg retrieval
hi everyone. It’s been a while since I posted.. hope everyone ok. I always use to get my period on day 28/29. October/November 2022 we started our IVF journey and December we had a failed fresh embryo transfer. My last two period have been on days 34 and 31 and now I’m on day 32 and no sign of period

some advice whilst on Estradiol!
Hi all, just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts. Due to have a FET W/C 6th March and the clinic have put me on estradiol. You’re meant to start this on your first day of period but Iv found that my period is like really light, very light brown which normally 3 days in I would be bleeding

Considering multiple egg collections now?
hello, I’m 41 & a bit lost. Met my partner later in life, and started TTC in lockdown, unsuccessfully. Went to doctors when I was 40, by the time the hospital met us I was 41 so no help available on the NHS. We aren’t rich but also lacking time so I am considering doing multiple egg collections/embryos

considering donor eggs - help…
I think we have exhausted the option of using my eggs… today we find out if our embryos (2) have managed to grow big enough for testing or even a transfer.. I’ve lost hope tbh, despite all the positive thinking & affirmations, I’m fearful for bad news.. In the event of not having my own eggs, I might

FET Prep - Advice?
Hi all So…. We had another BFN last week and it’s been a struggle, mentally. I’m usually pretty positive / optimistic and bloody stubborn at times .. but I feel so deflated 😩 We both do. I’m struggling to get into the mindset of trying again and arranging a FET… we have just one frozen embryo and

First FET - what grade embryo?
Hi all We’re due to begin our first FET next month. We have 5 embryos frozen. Some average, some good quality. In our initial consultation I asked what grade embryo would be transferred, worst or best. We were told the best will be transferred first. We’re grateful to be in this position, however

Negative test on day 10
Has anyone tested negative on day 10 post a 5day embryo transfer on a home test and still test positive on OTD. I just tested negative on day 10 and I’m asking to know if there’s still hope for me.

I thought I was 6 weeks today looking at the ivf due date calculators online. I had a bleed this afternoon and went for a reassurance scan (clinic couldn’t get me in) they put me at 5 weeks and could see the sac and yolk sac (and 2x haematoma - I had this with my youngest daughter which is probably the

**sensitive** BFP following FET but now obsessively taking pregnancy tests!
I'm embarrassed to admit this but I hope someone might have experienced something similar and have some words of advice. Since day 8 following my transfer I have tested every 2 days and now I'm past by OTD and have a scan booked in for 3 weeks time. The trouble is I'm still testing and feel like it's

Well after all does weight really matter
Having carefully watched my weight for years and
low
fat
diet
plus plenty of exercise it didn’t stop me needing a bypass at 76 . So what am I missing I keep asking myself . Many of these people were in their seventies but still alive and able.
