Loestrin 20 - experience
I'm on day 5 of
Loestrin
20 and I feel SO MUCH better in general. I feel more energetic and did not get many side-effects at all. Only on day 1 I felt dizzy and felt chest and throat pressure. But that cleared up afterwards and did not return.

Contraceptive poll
I just need some advice on the pill or any type of hormone treatment I have been on
loestrin
30 for 6 months now and tbh it’s the only pill I’ve tried with lesser side effects but the mood swings and depression are still the same as with any pill, I was wondering if the hormone patch would do this or

To help with the bleeding I’ve been given
loestrin
20, a low estrigine pill to take all the way through to stop my bleeding and also iron tablets to top up my ferritin levels as they have dipped again since, I have been bleeding 8 days every 2 weeks, anyone else been through more tablets, or other options

Endo and contraceptive pill
Hi I take
Loestrin
-20 continuously for my endometriosis, usually for 6-12 months at a time. Does anyone else do this and for how long? I've gone over 12 months this time without getting any break-through bleeding or pain. I'm reluctant to have a break for the sake of it but wonder if I should?

Is lower back pain normal on loestrin 20 (the pill)?
I've seen a gynaecologist and they've put me on the waiting list to see if i can have a laparoscopy to see if i have endometriosis, for the meantime she has put me on the oral contraceptive
loestrin
20 to hopefully stop the most of my period, however I've had back pains in my lower back since Monday

Things that work for my hidrenitis!!!
So I finally gave in to the gynecologist and took Lo
Loestrin
Fe, a low dose birth control. I had serious doubts because nothing I’d done had really worked before. Creams/soaps/gluten free diet, nothing worked.

A-typical endo symptoms. Diagnosed 23.1.18
Please note I was prescribed a contraceptive pill called
Loestrin
30 when I was 14 to cope with heavy painful periods. I took this pill for 15 years until I was 29.

5 weeks post-diagnosis laparoscopy, back on pill, more period pain then ever before!
I am now on
Loestrin
30 by the way. Did anyone else experience this when they went back on the pill? I wasn't expecting to feel more pain than I ever did before. Even post op I had a natural period come on early which wasn't unbearable like this.

A little advice
I was put on the pill - Rigevidon, on the Monday after surgery (20 days ago) then changed to
Loestrin
on Tuesday last week as per the consultants request. Thursday morning I noticed some spotting and it has since got worse and is now almost like a normal period.

Helps with timing of meds please.
I take my levothyroxine before bed and
loestrin
(contraceptive pill to stop my heavy periods) at breakfast. I also take vitamin D and folic acid, my levels of these are at the high end so this is maintenance dose, could I take these with a snack in the afternoon?

New & panicked!
years straight until in 2013 a new doctor asked me to switch to
loestrin
30 which I did. During all these years I never had any other endo pains just IBS. The
loestrin
caused nothing but issues with my immune system so a year ago I came off the pill altogether.

Contraceptive pill and endometriosis
I had a laparoscopy back in April and following surgery was put on the contraceptive pill (
Loestrin
20) to stop my periods. I was told this might not start right away.

Headaches
I've just come off of
Loestrin
20 for 7 days. I've started a new packet again now. But for the past few days I have had the worst headache. Has anyone else experienced this, even for such a short period of withdrawal?

Pain/PMS management and fertility questions
Saying that
Loestrin
30 worked pretty well for me and gave me shorter periods, manageable pain and for the most part eradicated symptoms of PMS.

Gp keeps making me anxious:(
I'm on the pill
loestrin
20 for heavy periods, I've been on it 4 years and my gp doesn't think it's a good idea to come off it yet until I'm stronger with the fatigue and my ferritin goes up. I've spoken to my gp today.

Can I ask does anyone take a combined pill and thyroxine?
I've been on the combined pill
loestrin
20 for 4 years. I started it as I'd had heavy periods all my life but they became very heavy in 2010 and I struggled for 2 years with horrific mid cycle pain. Horrific long periods that caused flooding.

Flares of Nausea, Panic, Chills ..
With other neurological problems seemingly tied to 'time of the month' I thought I would try a monophasic pill (
loestrin
) to level hormones as a test.
