Is lower back pain normal on loestrin 20 (the pill)?

I've seen a gynaecologist and they've put me on the waiting list to see if i can have a laparoscopy to see if i have endometriosis, for the meantime she has put me on the oral contraceptive loestrin 20 to hopefully stop the most of my period, however I've had back pains in my lower back since Monday when i started taking it, it's now Sunday and i still have really bad back pain, i know that rarely the pill can put you at a risk of blood clots, i was just wondering if anyone thinks the back pain is normal on the pill and whether it should get it checked out?

I changed from Rigevidon to Loestrin 20, and the change has been awful. I also have low back pain and tingling in my legs, I'm seriously considering going back to Rigevidon, it doesn't even let me sleep. I thought Loestrin had less side effects but in fact it has more! I guess everyone is different. I think is best if you talk with the gynecologist, maybe they can give you a different pill. Good luck!
