UPDATE; Overwhelmed; unbearable pain with a 'cascade of subsequent pain', can't figure out anything anymore? Does anybody else get this?
I would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank-you to everybody who has replied to my post in the last 48 hours. The incredible expression and wave of care and positive vibes has been humbling. In return I would like to give EVERYBODY a big hug of sincere gratitude. Every single reply has helped me to

Spirulina - any advice or experiences?
As you can see from previous posts, I have struggled to bring my iron and b vitamin levels up for a while, despite increasing my intake of both supplements...this has led me to look at spirulina as something that could possibly help, as there are quite a few reviews of this product from people saying

Struggling…
I haven’t been diagnosed with Endo but I’m almost certain it is the cause of all the problems I’m having. I’ve been having problems for 19 years (since I was 13). I’ve had numerous scans, X-rays, internal examinations, tried multiple pain killers and pills and been hospitalised with pain, vomiting

Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I suffer with a number of painful conditions: fibro, erythromelalgia, PoTS and haven recently been diagnosed with JHS (although not assessed how severe yet). I'm currently on 90mg a day of amitriptyline amongst other things including codeine

Monitor my health test results
I would apreciate it if somebody would give me some help with my test results from the above company. I asked for the full Thyroid tests. This was their advice:- Your results suggest you have a form of underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) TSH level 3.88 TSH levels normal normal range

Genetics Specialist??? Why?
Hey all! I hope all is well. So a bit of backstory. I am DX'd with Lupus (beginning stages but on Meds etc). I have had crazy reactions to CT Scan iodine which isnt that uncommon, however, when I do, it directly hits my feet (after shoulders and arms which goes away fast) and then I get the skin

RAI or continue on Carbimazole?
Does anyone know the long term risks of staying on Carbimazole? I have been told that the Radioiodine treatment is the gold standard of treatment, but the articles online talk about increased risks of cancers. I am on 5mg Carbimazole and have been for 5 and a half years, with 3 monthly blood tests. Twice

The iodine question
Hello, I am pondering on iodine supplementation. The b-complex I used it buy have changed the formula to add iodine so I am trying another one. However my nutritionist friend has incouraged me to have some iodine as it is important for healthy breast tissue and ovaries. I am also reading The Period Repair

Continued debate on iodine testing
Further to my post 18 days ago https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148900989/serum-iodine-test-uk, Ive now received some information which may reopen the debate on which test is appropriate. As I indicated in my earlier post, Genova indicated that a serum test may be better (than the urine test
