Confused about best vitamins for osteopenia
Hi all, please see also my post at: https://healthunlocked.com/bonehealth/posts/140686583/just-joined On the advice of HeronNS I decided to go off Prolia (after 1 injection) and to try the Vitamin route with increased exercise. I was already taking Vitamin D 2000 - 3000 I.U./day and calcium carbonate

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed and lost
I’m 20, recently I’ve been dealing with a bad case of depression and it’s really brought me to a low place, I gave up doing everything and just stayed in bed for almost two months. A fresh look at an age old supplement. Lithium.
It never ceases to amaze me how things that I saw years ago and ignored turn out to be of far greater interest when I actually take the time to research them. Today's example is lithium. This morning I started by reading a new thread on the Parkinson's forum that linked to an interview with a doctor

PD and Lithium use
My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson 10 years after using Lithium for bipolar disease. His tremor and stiffness began about 7 years after starting Lithium. PD was diagnosed 3 years later. He still takes 300mg Lithium 3x/day. Is it possible Lithium use can cause PD?

Lithium for Depression
I have heard that Lithium can affect thyroid function. I am aged 35 and have been taking thyroid hormones since aged 16 due to Hashimotos Disease. My psychiatrist wants me to trial Lithium to help my Depression in addition to taking the antidepressant I am on. Is this a good idea, or could it affect

Having trouble with my thoughts
I felt a lot better after I started taking lithium, I guess I don’t really have that feeling of dredge on me, but I’m still stuck doing the same things, following the same pattern. I haven’t talked to anyone I know in months, no ones reached out to me or asked how I’ve been. I feel pretty pointless being

How do you fix behaviors and actions?
I’m 20. I’ve been feeling really depressed for the last three months, but recently I’ve started feeling better and better after I tried lithium and epa. I don’t feel great yet, but my behaviors are still that if I was really depressed. How do I get myself out of this? I just want to sit in bed and do

Normal TSH result. Where to go from here?
Been suffering with extreme tiredness and fatigue of late, along with various other hypothyroidism symptoms. Got bloods done at GP, only thyroid testing was TSH, and results were normal. But I still feel awful. Where do I go from here? Is it worth getting other thyroid tests when my TSH isn't even slightly

Thoughts a little better, but still have behavioral problems
I’ve been feeling pretty low for the past few months. I feel like I hit complete bottom a couple weeks ago. Stopped exercising, hobbies, eating, eating healthy, dropped out of school, stopped talking to “friends”, problems with family. The only thing I’ve done was start with a therapist online. I was
