Itching
I use 4%
Lidocaine
spray on my whole body after a good scratch with a nylon bristle brush to ease the itching. My doctor knows this. I am tired of taking Repuip and Mirapex to drug myself into a stupor. If I don't scratch the itch, I feel like I am being stung.

Only local
lidocaine
for that. Of course a few weeks have now passed and my PSA has increased to 110. First course of treatment (besides casodex/lupron) was radiation at Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle… Dr Buscariollo… Excellent service and good results, 24 sessions 5 days a week.

LIDOCAINE 5% PAIN PATCHES
OTC salonspas are 4%
lidocaine
but are expensive for daily use when using in 3 different places on my body. Just wondering if anyone else has used these "miracle" pain relieving patches. Agapepilgrim (Judi)

Tapering while suffering with shingles?
I am now on antivirals, some paracetamol,
lidocaine
patch and Benadryl. At the dose of 12, and no PMR symptoms at all for many months on much lower doses, will I be allowed to taper down to 11 1/2 at this time?

4 months ago I received 2 injections of
lidocaine
at the points between the neck and head. 3 days later I started having tinnitus in both ears. Is it related to

I.B.S AND THE PROBLEMS.
I.B.S. destroys your life in so much as the simple things like a walk, drive in the car, going out socially, yoga-you name it, is a real problem. Wearing special disposable pants, incontinence type disposable sheets underneath the main sheet and how do you regulate say imodium and peppermint oil capsules

Anyone had a Lidocaine infusion
Hi As anyone has a
lidocaine
infusion? I was given very little info about it in May, and now got a letter booking me for this procedure, without being offered other options. Thanks

Piriformis pain advice please (pelvic pain related).
Has anyone recovered from this and what method did you use (ie I have heard
lidocaine
shots, and botox. I will not do anything like dry needling because I would only use ultrasound guided techniques). Also if you have recovered, did it help relieve other aspects of your pain? Thank you.

Anyone offered Remicade
Hi all, my rhumy wants me to get Remicade infusion to try to deal with my pain levels. He is frustrated (as am I) that nothing he's tried has dealt with it effectively, the last being lignocaine infusions which actually increased my pain levels. He has left my pred dose to me, as long as I stay under

Chronic Fatigue and Covid vaccine
when they started talking about the Covid vaccine in January, I phoned my GP to ask if I should have it as I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue, and in 2016 I had had a Lignocaine Infusion done by the Pain Management clinic, which left me unable to even sit up for 5 weeks followed by only being able

So what do I do now?
(I have tried gabapentin, duloxetine, carmazapine, tramadol and
lidocaine
patches non seemed to make any difference) Do I just reduce my pred at a fairly quick rate? Any advice appreciated, I just can figure out what to do to get some relief from all the issues.

Lidocaine patches.
My husband recalled I had
lidocaine
patches for a previous problem so today I have put on patch and along with oxycodone and paracetamol have coped better today. Still got pain but slightly less acute. I let you all know how tomorrow goes. More of the same I’m hoping for. Thank you all

Lidocaine
Different formulations of the same drug occur, but on a quick check I found
lidocaine
creams and injections with either PEG or polysorbate 80. You have to check each formulation/manufacturer.

Has anyone had lidocaine infusions ?
Hi ! My private pain consultant has suggested the above for pain relief. I have looked it up and know that people have had these but I am wondering if they are cost effective ie how long do they last in terms of pain relief and any side effects ? I am currently weaning myself off of pregablin. ( taken
