Endo appointment and liothyronine
Hello all, My endocrinologist appointment is coming up soon. I have had the blood test, but typical NHS they only test TSH. My endo said, last time that I spoke to her, which was in June, she said my TSH was coming down and I may or may not, need an increase next appointment. Whilst I have been very

Advice on Progress with T3 Trial
My Endo asked me to reduce my
Levothyroxine
from 75 to 25mcg and to add 2 x
Liothyronine
5mcg. I made changes slowly but was alarmed at dropping to 25mcg T4 so alternated with 50/25, eventually keeping at 50 mcg after an interim Medichecks blood test.

T3 prescribing
My endo and gp have decided to remove my prescription for Liothyronine and want me to be on levo only. I'm in Cumbria. May I have the list of T3 doctors or endos that might prescribe lio on the NHS, if there even is such a thing. I can buy my own but my supply is reliant on someone else bringing it

Can't find proper thyroid medication
Hi all, I've tried almost all thyroid medications under the sun, NDT, T4 only (tirosint, synthroid, euthyrox), T4 + T3, T3 only, NDT + T4. And no matter what I still have lingering symptoms despite all my levels being optimal ( TSH, free T4 and free T3). My vitamins are all optimal as well (vtiamin

Difficulty getting Liothyronine without Acacia
I'm currently having difficulty finding a pharmacy than can source a Liothyronine brand that does not contain Acacia, to which I have had a bad reaction recently. The two suitable brands being Roma or SigmaPharm (5mcg). No one can get SigmaPharm and there seems to be no supply of Roma. No has said

Buying from abroad
I am post thyroidectomy and post para-thyroidectomy, having had the op around nine years ago, following the discovery of a large tumour in my neck. I had a short time on Levothyroxine but my body doesn’t recognise it evidently, so I was immediately put on Liothyronine and have felt wonderful on this

Liothyronine
I haven't posted on here for sometime, I was diagnosed as hypothyroid (autoimmune) a few years ago now after nodules appeared on my thyroid gland. I have been trying to stay well on levothyoxine from my GP and eating/living well but now feel I need a bit more help. I'm thinking maybe a trial of liothyronine

Blood test timings help please
I take 100mg
levothyroxine
at 10pm, 10mcg
Liothyronine
at 7am and 5mcg Liothyronine at 4pm. This spread is working great for me, but I am still monitoring my levels and wanted advice on when to do my blood test. I would be grateful 🙏

Why should we have bloods 24 hours after levo dose?
Just a question that my GP has raised on my recent results . Showed TSH 0.1 (0.2-6) and T4 18.6 ( 10-20 ) I had teh test 24 hours ( 8.30am) after last dose levo. So, should I be reducing my Levo dose? Last NHS test October 2023 showed same TSH and T4 18.9. This was taken 12 hours after last

gluten free levothyroxine
Good morning everyone, just a quick question, is Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine gluten free? I am currently on my 3rd month of being gluten free to try to improve some of my symptons. My inflammation and joint pain have improved a lot and my bloated tummy has gone, but I was reading a list yesterday of

T3 and cortisol issues?
hello, I could really use some help piecing my mess together. I’ll try to be brief but that may be difficult because there’s a lot to unpack. 2009 thyroidectomy for large goiter and hashimotos Lived comfortably on 150/175 mcgs of Levo until perimenopause. Around that time i developed severe anxiety

latest bloods
I’m on a journey with t3 it’s taking a while. Latest bloods reflect 15mcg taken in one dose and 50mcg levothyroxine I think I need to increase levo but on 75 I was slightly over medicated I felt. A reply on here suggested 62.5mcg as middle road which makes sense to me but pills are tiny and crumbly

New diagnosis - what to expect/demand from GP
I had my second child in August 2022 and to be honest I've not felt right since. Since going back to work in June last year I've been permanently exhausted but it's just got worse and worse. Totally mental fog, can't focus, constantly yawning my head off. My body aches constantly but all the while I
