The October 2023 NHS Drug Tariff has been published and my blog has been updated. The tariff price for Liothyronine 5microgram tablets has dropped to 12300 (from 12350). The tariff price for Liothyronine 20microgram tablets has risen to 4292 (from 4248).

The NHS Drug Tariff doesn't actually list all makes.
You only see a make when there is only one supplier and it is category C. There are now two sources - Morningside and Sigmapharm.
You won't see Morningside 5mcg tablets (it is Category A) or Morningside 20mcg tablets (it is Category M) but you do see Morningside 10mcg tablets (it is Category C).
My message really is that the NHS Drug Tariff doesn't say very much at all, nothing, about the makes that are available. Except in the very limited circumstance of there being just one solitary supplier.
Much more information about available products/makes in my medicines documents!
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world.
This link takes you to a page which has direct links to the documents from Dropbox and Google Drive, and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones.
The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrix for tablets, oral solutions and liothyronine available in the UK.
