Hello I finally got a private endo to agree to up my meds from 75mcg levothyroxine to 100 or112.5 if I felt it necessary in July 2023 allowing my TSH to fall below range, and that I understood and was willing to take the risks. My 3 pm slump was dangerous as I was fighting to stay awake on the way

private endos in Newcastle upon Tyne
Hi, My expectation of being prescribed Liothyronine at my upcoming NHS endo appointment is low to zero. I am done with feeling unwell and am not prepared to wait for a second opinion on the NHS. I need to reclaim my life so I will make an appointment with a private specialist straight after. I am thankful

sea moss
my 30 year old daughter had been treated for hypothyroidism for the last 8 years and takes 125 mcg Liothyronine. Recently a friend in Hong Kong where she lives as suggested sea moss supplement and she feels she has more energy and less brain fog. I’m concerned about the iodine in it but other components

Taken Levo 17 hours before blood draw by mistake
I have mistakenly taken my 2nd Levo and second Liothyronine doses 17 hours before my blood draw. I’m guessing this will mess up my results for my endocrinology appointment? My nhs endocrinologist always tells me to take both at the normal time regardless of the test. Thanks

Hi All,After a lot of trying other things (diet, supplements...) I was finally prescribed Liothyronine by a private GP with the backing of Endocrinology. My new 5mcg pills arrived today, and the plan is I take 5mcg 3 times a day, total of 15mcg which is a small dose. I'm currently on 125 Levo with low

morningside
hi everyone, can anyone tell me if there is a shortage of Morningside Liothyronine 20mcg. My usual chemist is out of stock and doesn’t know when it will be back in and I just wondered whether it was just in the South of England. I have tried many chemists today who either don’t answer the phone or pick

advice please
I posted before my trial off B12 and now I’m posting recent bloods and diary of symptoms. I hope that someone can look over them to help me. I fear that they aren’t going to reinstate my b12 injections. hope it all makes sense History Diverticulitis diagnosed 2018 Hashimoto’s diagnosed 2019

T3/T4 combo issues
Not sure what to say except I’m really fed up. It seems as if 15 mcg T3 spread through the day and 75 mcg of thyroxine at night takes its toll on my bowels making them very loose and uncomfortable not to mention embarrassing. Also the extra 5 mcg of T3 gives me palpitations, headache and spaced out feelings

Change in thyroid tests as I taper Prednisone
I am 3.5 years into PMR. Honestly can't remember what my Levothyroxine dose was before I was diagnosed however throughout my battle with PMR I was taking 100mcg. and GP added 5mcg Liothyronine in 2020 as I apparently wasn't converting my T4. I had finally tapered to 5mg of Pred in March 2023 and my

Zydus liothyronine
Hello, Does anyone have any experience with this type of liothyronine (I've never even heard of it)? Like some on here, I'm pretty sensitive to differences in brands. I get on well with Cynomel and Mylan brands (but I don't know a pharmacy that currently stocks Mylan). And due to insurance, this is my

Price of Liothyronine
I recall that a few years ago many patients were refused Liothyronine because of its massive price rise. I just came across a Tribunal decision where the pharma companies were fined for the increase and they appealed. In August 23 The Competion Appeal Tribunal dismissed the appeal so the fines of
