Pain medication advise - Gabapentin
Firstly, I understand no one can give medical advice. But any help in the right direction would be gratefully received. I have a knee replacement followed by a manipulation last week. I didn't get to speak to the surgeon afterward but my discharge notes said I needed adequate pain relief. I am struggling

Big foot
I’ve had
leg
pain
for a few years but the doctors have never been interested. On the other foot I have an in grown toe nail caused by my feet now starting to club. I spoke to the hospice and she said they could both be caused by the chemo.

UPDATE: PSA doubled, MO has had little input
Since then, my dad has been having quite a bit of
pain
in his back and
leg
to where he has a very heavy limp. He had his nephrostomy tubes changed which we hoped might help as his tube was displaced.

Coping with the pain
Hi Guys, Hope everyone's having a good a day as they can. Ever since my lap in July 2 2and diagnosis of endo stage 3 with cysts. The pain has been horrendous, much worse than it was before. I've repeatedly gone back to my drs to ask for pain relief or some help in anyway. Apparently they never

private vs endo centre?
hi, I’m in the fortunate position of having private healthcare through work. I had likely adenosis and long standing deep infiltrating endometriosis identified through an MRI about 9 weeks ago. Initially I said no to surgery (because I was a hit shocked on the call and didn’t know anything about it)

Since commencing the Sandoz version, I have been experiencing very serious side effects in that it causes weak
leg
muscles, the weakness and
pain
starting high up on the buttocks about mid day and travelling right through the thighs and ending in heavy legs.

Update
He has now developed
pain
in the kneecap area of the
leg
which is twisting the wrong way. Unfortunately my Brother does not fit the norm of recovering from ICU. Apparently community acquired pneumonia is what he initially had and also query heart attack with three small markers, tias.

Advice on bloodwork after radiation treatment?
Around the third lutetium treatment, he began experiencing
pain
in that same
leg
that migrated toward his lower back and his new oncologist ordered an MRI of his spine. The MRI showed a met on L2 with nerve involvement. It was decided to radiate the spinal met and shoulder with SBRT.

Insomnia add CBD oil
CBD oil acts on different receptors than Opioids and THC . If you are taking low dose CBD with THC or medical marijuana and you still suffer insomnia add extra pure CBD oil. If you suffer from opioid insomnia add PURE CBD OIL always sublingual it has some many health benefits a great nights sleep

Thalassemia and PA
Hello, I've been telling everyone I know about PA, and so far two friends quite possibly have it. One definitely. But my nieces husband and daughter have Thalassemia. A very rare genetic blood disorder. When i googled it, I was surprised to see it can be linked to b12d and PA. Does anyone here have this

Does half dose of sertraline make any difference?
I’ve spoken to a GP this morning (not my usual one, sadly) about my restless legs having returned since taking sertraline. She mentioned other antidepressants as an alternative but all of them are listed as having restless legs as side effects. She suggested halving the dose. As I’m only on the lowest

I had NO FIBRO PAIN while I had Covid. Significant?
Dear Community! I got Covid recently, and had NO FIBRO PAIN for 6 weeks. Similar for other viruses I had in the past. Has anyone else noticed this? Could be significant for a future treatment? I'm desperate to find something to help the chronic pain. Fibro affects every aspect of my life. Some days

Looking for guidance
Hi everyone, Sorry if this is a super long post. To give some back ground, I started having very painful periods in 2015 when I came off the contraceptive pill at 20 years old. I came off because I have a breast cancer risk on both sides of my family and I felt that taking the pill was unnecessarily

I know everyone is different but I had my op last Thursday and the consultant says it has gone well. I had a patch on overnight which was taken off the following morning when I went for a check up. My eye felt sore and achy but really not bad enough to take painkillers. My vision is a little blurry

new and floundering to heart failure
He tried to increase the beta blocker to 5 but
leg
pain
has meant he’s reduced it back down to 2.5. His blood pressure tablets are giving him a cough. His hdl cholesterol is too low (we are trying diet to increase it) but overall his cholesterol is ok yet he’s on the highest statin dose 80.

I have had v bad

as a result and am currently on morphine patches - not fully effective but better than nothing. Strangely my af has quietened down and apart from Christmas week, I have had few episodes of a racing heart - usually I have a couple a week.

Medications causing mouth ulcers?
Hi there, I’m on 9 different medications: Dapagliflozin, Bisopropolol, Aspirin, Clopidogrel, spironolactone, warfarin, atorvostatin, lanzrapole and ramipril and I’ve been taking them since late April following a HA. I’ve felt generally well apart from fatigue but in the last 6-8 weeks have developed
