Why are my legs suddenly so painful?
I am 67 and retired and still relatively active (golf/gardening/cycling) but the
leg
pain
is concerning me. I am now on my 7th week of 4mgs, soon to reduce to 3. I'm aware that below 5 is when it can get tricky. 1. Should I taper to 3 or 3.5 because of these leg spasms? Or should I increase? 2.

I should add I have found a non-prescription tablet which I find offers limited relief - Naveh Anti

Dopamine Agonist withdrawal syndrome
On what would have been Robin Williams' 72nd birthday, a reminder of how dangerous dopamine agonists can be. If you mention DAWS to a UK doctor, they have no idea what we are talking about. They mistakenly say it only happens if the patient had Impulse Control Disorder. It can affect anyone taking these

Back pain
I have always suffered from back pain ever since a couple of slipped discs in the late 70s early 80s but recently it seems to have got worse after I fell and broke my hip at the end of March. I am suffering very badly from prickling and burning in my feet. It now seems to be there all day and I don’

Dear friends, I am finishing 2 years of Forsteo at the end of July. In preparation for the possibility of having ZA Infusion as follow on treatment, I have been attending dental appointments . Having been passed to the practise surgeon to have an extraction, we were both shocked to discover I may

is this sciatica?
so this morning I got up in the early hours to go to the loo and I suddenly felt this shooting
pain
down my left
leg
, emanating from my lower back I think. And I sort of collapsed on that side, not fully, but pretty heavily. It’s worse on one side, but definitely on the other too.

Help with blood test interpretation for my daughter
Hello Everyone, I'm new here and asking for my 18 year old daughter. I've come over from the Thyroid UK forum at their suggestion. She's been quite unwell for about 3-4 years slowly getting worse. We've been stuck with unhelpful medics both private and NHS who have not got anywhere with her symptoms

Tingling sensation in my fingers and hands. Is it caused by augmentation ?
Hello everyone my RLS is getting worse. I live in Mexico. I wanted everyone to know before I got started because there are certain drugs like buprenorphine I can’t get here. I’m finding that my arms and hands have this funny tingling in them when I go to bed. No jumping like my legs. It’s just a tingling

Discitis nearly killed me. I suspect streptococcus B was injected into me by Hormone injection for PCa
I have PCa. I am also immune suppressed due to kidney transplant. In February I started hormone injections due to BCR. A couple of weeks later I started to get back pain. Doctor prescribed pain killers. After about 6 weeks, many blood tests, consultations and an MRI scan I was diagnosed with discitis

Tortuous
I'm now in my 4th week (feels like years!) of reducing Ropinirole and taking Pregabalin. GP prescribed 50mg which I quickly increased to 100 and I am now taking that with 0.5mg Ropinirole instead of 0.15mg. The moment I sit and 'settle' (no chance!)for the evening off go the legs. I'm already very low

Over the counter painkillers
Hi, I’m waiting on scan & further steps to manage my endo & adenomyosis. The pain is getting harder to manage & I’d be grateful for suggestions of pain relief that might work better than current ibuprofen, panadol & hot water bottles:) Have just been reading it’s better to start ibuprofen before day
