Triclycerides ratio versus HDL ?
My lipid profile has remained identical since last year, including HDL at 72/73. But triclycerides were 72 last year and now are 65. (I am 87). What does that mean ? And what action if any is necessary ?

Thoughts on cholesterol/statins
Just want to pick your brains, anyone who’s interested. My total cholesterol has increased in the last two years. These are the last three readings 5.2-5.5-6.0. I know 6 is borderline high; however, my HDL to total cholesterol ratio has always been good, present reading 2.83. My triglyceride levels are

Kidney and liver issues with high thyroid antibodies?
He also has unusually low cholesterol # in both HDL and
LDL
but has had this as long as I have known him...50 years. He really looks the picture of health. He did try LDN about 3 years ago, but only saw slight improvement in his thyroid antibody#s. I'm at a loss.

6 monthly update and potential treatment questions
All cholesterol parameters have increased but are within range except
LDL
which is 110mg/DL (should be less than 100). We got a 2D Echo done few months back and it was normal then. His total Testosterone has increased from 19ng/DL to 33ng/DL in 3 months (same period PSA fell from 2.6 to 1.2).

Darolutamide & Simvastatin?
Perhaps that has something to do with the makeup of
LDL
-chol. VLDL (very low density lipoprotein)-chol has a better chance of being taken up by cells. Cholesterol is the starting point for the creation of the sex hormones.

My latest blood results, please advise
My triglycerides,
LDL
and HDL are within the normal range, but my total cholesterol is still quite high. I am quite worried that my thyroid antibodies and total cholesterol are still high. I’m generally quite fit and healthy.

Parb Inhibitors Experience
I have been on Lynparza since June. PSA started at 16.4 and has varied between 15 and 17.5 for the 5 months I have been on it. Alt Phos has dropped from 121 to 74. LDH from 230 to 189. Just had a scan and it showed no progression even tho I have been in a little more pain recently. My oncologist

Pork fried rice & LDH level of 277
Well, since I am three years past my expiration date, And I have never had my LDH level testing, this level of 277 that I have does not seem that bad. Normal range is 135 to 225 according to my chart. Some other things I read said normal range was up to 280. Having four times the normal range means

Has anyone tried low dose naltrexone? How did it go for you?
Apparently it can lower TPO antibodies, which in my case, even after removing gluten, dairy and soy, are very high (960). Has anyone tried this?

Blood Test - 3 weeks after 3rd LU 177 infusion
PSA continues to come down from 0.81 to 0.227. All other CEA and CA continue to drop too. Alk Phosphate and LDH are within range. All blood counts are within range except hemoglobin which is marginal below range. Both Oncologist and Radiologist are very pleased with the outcome. I will be doing PET
