Concerned about bowel cancer
I have taken some
laxatives
which have helped but stopped that and haven't been to thr toilet in 3 days. After having the laxative I had a significant amount of stool come out. Is this cause for concern? Should also note that there is no blood at all.

When to reduce maintenance dose?
I'm worried that if I start to reduce the
laxatives
that it's going to cause issues again. Will she be on this dose forever? We have a good toilet routine so don't want to spoil any good habits or everything we have achieved so far. Any advice would be much appreciated!

After being on opiates for 20 years, my stomach and bowel are now not working properly and I need daily
laxatives
and even they don't work well. Over the hospital stay I was unable to "go" for 5 days. I also started getting painful mouth ulcers as soon as I took the first tablet.

No pain + either Blood no stool or stool no blood + nothing* on colonoscopy
Even when using
laxatives
(except the one I had for the colonoscopy) I have not lost any weight Now I’ve started farting blood too and I’m starting to get scared because I’m afraid the doctors won’t give me the right diagnosis or listen to me when I tell them I think they are wrong.

Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy for CKD patients
I have read that
laxatives
can be harmful to kidneys and I wouldn't be surprised that anasthesia might be dangerous for kidneys, too. I know you are not doctors, but have any of you with Level 3A CKD had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy, taken
laxatives
to prepare for it, and then had anasthesia?

Frustration with Attempts to Use the B1 Protocol
I haven't tried alleviating the constipation by using fiber products like Psyllium husks, or
laxatives
(except during breaks) because I'm using constipation as my indicator, and don't want to "muddy the waters." It's very frustrating.

Advice on managing IBS symptoms
I have tried various
laxatives
. Several (including laxido, fybogel, and lactulose) have made my stool softer but I still could not empty my bowels properly and would have to go urgently several times throughout the day (to the point where I could not leave the house).

small bowel blockage
Thought I’d share this important advice: It began with constipation and like the majority of people I took
laxatives
. No! The consultant told me that was not good.

Has it just disappeared?
My daughter is now 10 years old has always been incredibly reluctant to take the
laxatives
prescribed! But we have now got to a stage where the soiling has gone and she takes herself off twice a week to do a massive poop! They are huge can cause discomfort even make her bottom bleed at times.

Possible Endometriosis?
Since mid december I’ve been having constant constipation (My bowels have never been good - but the constipation is constant and I’ve been having to take
laxatives
regularly since december) lots of gas and burping, bloating, mostly bowel issues.

stools and bloat
I’ve tried literally all
laxatives
and nothing works on me. It only comes out when it wants. I’m in pain every single day. I literally probably feel good once a month just for a couple of hours. I don’t know what it is. They say it’s ibs but I don’t understand.

Diagnosis
I'm on mefanemic acid only as codeine and
laxatives
are making things worse. Sometimes help sometimes doesn't. I'm having physio on back but that doesn't seem to be helping...every night I have broken sleep due to back pain. Don't get me started on the bloating.
