What can I do?

I need help guys!! (English is my second language so bare with me please)

I’ve never had ANY problems with my bowel or stool in my life, but 3 months ago I became constipated and after a week I started seeing blood.

For 3 months now I either poo blood NO STOOL. (At least 10 times /day)

Or I poo (every 4-5th day) and there is no blood or very little on stool.

Normally I do number 2 about 3 times/ day. Since 3 months ago I can only go about every 4-5th day.

I feel the need to go all - the - time and when I do I only see blood, blood cloths and a few times there can be some white strains on a cloth or two, like mucus maybe.

I feel zero pain whatsoever. The only constant is the feeling of the need to go, and so I do. Several times a day and it is so much blood. I can’t see the bottom of the toilet water after I go and the cloths can be as tiny as a pea or as big as a ping pong ball.

There are always more then one when they come but 1/5 times it’s only “clear” blood.

I’ve picked them apart with toilet paper (sorry for sounding gross) and the color is bright red. So they might look black in the pic but if you look at the edges you can see they are not. (Also that has the white strains I was talking about)

The picture is taken about 2,5 month ago so the cloths was smaller then.

Bloodtests didn’t show anything and test on feces showed elevated numbers, but my doctor told me this could be a false indicator for cancer because blood can elavate the results.

I’ve done a colonoscopy and everything looked really good except the rectum was inflamed. Doctor thought it looked as if I have ulcerative colitis, but when I did research about it nothing matches my symptoms at all except for bleeding.

I don’t have pain

Either I poop and there is no blood or very little or I only get blood.

I can hold forever because it won’t come out anyways. Even when using laxatives (except the one I had for the colonoscopy)

I have not lost any weight

Now I’ve started farting blood too and I’m starting to get scared because I’m afraid the doctors won’t give me the right diagnosis or listen to me when I tell them I think they are wrong.

I can’t exaggerate my symptoms or act as if I’m in pain and I have a hard time putting my foot down to doctors.

In a month I get to see the doctor who performed the colonoscopy and hopefully the tests they took will give me some answers, but if not.. what can I do?

Does anybody have the same experience as me because I can’t seem to find anything?

Especially the fact that I poop a lot of blood without stool (all the time).

I’d be so grateful if we keep this thread about the symptoms I’ve described above.

If you have to hurry to the bathroom, have diarrhea or hemorrhaging I would really appreciate if you discuss that on another post because I really need some guidance and I don’t want this post to sidetrack into something else.

I hope everybody gets the help they deserve and that all of you will become well soon!

Much love and appreciation to all of you who read this.

Hi DrMill’

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. First of all, your English is awesome.

When did you have the colonoscopy? Obviously, there's blood in the stool and therefore any test concerning that would come back positive. And you say the diagnosis was ulcerative colitis. I would agree that it doesn't look like you have a lot of the symptoms associated with that. Some, but not many. It is good that you don't have any pain, but you also don't have good answers as to what's going on.

Is there any way you can get a second opinion from a different doctor? You say you are going to the doctor in a month, and it looks like to get the test results. Are these the colonoscopy test results or is this some different tests that they performed? I know anytime there is blood in the stool you need to have good answers for what's going on.

I do wish you the best in finding out what's going on. Maybe some others on this site have had similar situations. If it's possible to get a second opinion from another doctor that may be beneficial.

Another thing to think about is if there is any hereditary medical issues within your family. This is good information for your doctor to know as that could lead to some other testing for that situation. Please let us know what you find out as it is that type of information that can be helpful to others on this site.

Thank you,
