After surgery symptoms

Hi all, Just want to get some advise.

I had a laparoscopy for removal of endometriosis at the beginning of June this year , I was on zoladex for 3 months before this and had the marina coil (this got taken out during the laparoscopy)

Basically I have not had a period and there is no way that I could be pregnant. I’m starting to get concerned In the last few days I’ve had a flare up , and it dose not feel like period pains. Dose this mean that the removal wasn’t successful ?

I have a routine appointment with my gynocolosist in February but can’t seem to get this brought forward as need some advise so have booked a doctors appointment for next week.

Has anyone had the same issues or able to give me advise.

Do you feel the op has helped with any of your pain/symptoms?

It could be that you had Zoladex and coil, pretty heavy hitters on the hormone front. I had my first lap in Feb 2020 and hysterectomy Nov 2020, I had Zoladex after lap so never had a period return.

It’s likely your body will take a bit of time to recover. It’s a good idea to see GP, ask for a blood test to include thyroid and hormones, check to see what levels are doing.

Just having Endo removed is tough on the body, try not to get too worried. See what GP says and if you need to see Gynae make sure they get in touch to bring the appointment forward. They can do this.
