Is it worth paying for a private consultation?
I’m desperate and getting worse as the weeks go by, I just need answers and absolutely can’t afford however many thousands of pounds it will cost me to pay private for a
laparoscopy
and whatever else is needed

Feeling a bit lost after being ditched by hospital/GP after surgery/diagnosis
It's now 2.5 weeks after my
laparoscopy
and my GP phoned today about my thyroid medication, but said nothing else about my endometriosis, so I think they've just discharged me with no intention of any follow up with the gynaecologist or GP.

When I mentioned having it in 2016 found via a
laparoscopy
then I got told I might have it because a MRI wouldn’t rule this type out 🙄, got offered a lap privately but couldn’t accept the referral because I couldn’t afford it.

Serous borderline tumor
Hi ladies, Where to start? I had surgery on September 16th - initially started as laparoscopic removal of fallopian tubes and left ovary (with a 5cm cyst). Surgeon thought everything looked good and while he was stitching me up - pathology in OR indicated a borderline tumor. Ended up having a radical

Any advice?
I was sent for ultrasound scans that didn’t show anything other than damage to my womb so was given an appointment for a
laparoscopy
for May 2020. Of course this got cancelled due to covid and for some reason, in 2021 I was discharged.

Diagnostic laparoscopy
Hiya! I have my first lap on Wednesday and I am soooo nervous. Excited the dates finally come around but so nervous because it now feels so real! Any advice? Also, probably a really silly question but I need to shower in the morning, I’m guessing I can just use my normal shampoo/shower gel but no deodorant

bladder wall endometriosis
hello, I had my first lap on Thursday where I was found to have a lot of endometriosis. Some of it was found on my bowel wall and my gynaecologist didn’t remove it in fear it could cause damage to my bladder. I am awaiting a consultation with her in a couple of weeks but in the mean time, I just wondered

Just diagnosed, what next?
Hi everyone, I have just joined this group to learn from your experiences and share support. 30years suffering, belittle, and ignored by doctors. I had to pay for my own laparoscope one month ago. Multiple miscarriages all my life, no kids Doctors said I didn't have endo. Well results of my laparoscope

Bowels and bladder
I had a
laparoscopy
and they found endometriosis around the canal so fairly distant from these organs. Should I be concerned that they didn’t find it all or is there potential that I get IBS symptoms without anything to worry about?

Period returned 7 weeks after giving birth despite breast feeding - is this related to endometriosis?
I feel extremely lucky to be a mother especially when I feared it would not happen after ttc for over a year and then being diagnosed with moderate Endo from a
laparoscopy
.

I’m new and looking for advise - 14cm and 8cm bilateral ovarian endometrioma cysts
We have touched on a
laparoscopy
and my doctor has mentioned with them being so large it might not be possible and a full incision might have to be made, although I’m trying not to stress over that until we know more!

That was strange but I do like a plan
In the three and a half years since we started running we completed C25K, we completed Ju Ju’s magic plan timed version and ran for an hour, we started the distance version and winter came so went to running less often, we started Garmin 10k plan, got to 8k and realised our legs just ached, all the time

laparoscopy NHS waiting time
She said as the meds given to me for PCOS were ineffective, she thinks its endo and has booked me in for
laparoscopy
. She has also put my on Mefenamic Acid and Codeine for pain management. She said I could be waiting for as long as a year for an appointment for surgery.

Natural remedies without lap…
Just wondered if anyone has any experience / recommendations of things that have helped reduced their endo symptoms naturally? Would love to be able to manage this better without having to put more stress on my body with a lap surgery…
