Those pom-poms have been busy in September and here’s the last call for the month. And what a call it is! It’s all happening on Sunday so here we go:
🥳 The roads of Bristol are first up and we have three amazing runners there to lap up the atmosphere, bands and fabulous crowds.
cheekychipmunks and dijep are heading for the 10K while Tabbles is doing the HM. It’ll be a blast everyone 🥳 Don’t forget to do a little jiggle with the bands folks. We know you’ll want to 🕺
🥳 Next up is Super Sandie1961 who will be taking on the Tissington Trail HM. Is it just me or is that quite tricky to say quickly? 🤔 Sounds beautiful Sandie. I was going to ask for lots of photos but perhaps in a race that’s not a good idea 😂
🥳 From the trails of Tissington to Stafford now where we have our fabulous Time_Lord running the Stafford 10K. Closed roads and cheering points! What’s not to love TL?
🥳 With the epic name of Bladerunner2049 you can’t go wrong. He’ll be taking on the Winchester Half. It looks a hilly route Bladerunner but with your experience you’ll have no problem.
🥳 Finally, to wrap up this weekend’s awesome runners we have the inspiring Blackberrypie who is taking on her first (I believe) Triathlon! What an adventure! Go you!
Southampton Fast Twitch Sprint Triathlon is the venue.
Good luck to each and every one of you 🍀 Bon Courage and have fun 🥳🤗We look forward to all your race reports and photos of blingy-bling 🏅🏅🏅

Thanks for the pom-poms for a second weekend in a row IP! My legs are being instructed to carry me with gusto, not like strings of cooked spaghetti which they resembled last weekend. Anyone want this cold of mine? I’m done with it now! 🙄😅
Oh dear! So sorry that your cold is lingering, I hope you feel better for the race and your legs indeed carry you with gusto. 🏅🏃♀️ I know that yo haven't received the medal yet but this looks like you running with gusto for it. 😊
Thankyou, I just can't imagine doing a HM. At least the weather is looking good for us on Sunday. It's my first ever running event so my fingers are firmly crossed.
what a wonderful list of running adventures! Good luck everyone. I will be waving Pom poms from sunny Stratford where I am returning to Parkrun for what seems like ages and trying out my new Skort. I will feel like a proper Pom Pom girl !!
Thanks for the pompoms All done and what an event! I will do a run report in a separate post but I've completely exceeded my own expectations (I seem to have picked up a 5k pb along the way!) and was grinning most of the way round because the route was so beautiful.
First time at a large event, hill at the end robbed me of a 2 hour finish. Official time 2.:00:13. Big improvement on PB
Finding space and gauaging pace more difficult. Also ran without head phones. Watch had me finishing at 1:57 but distance was out as I used this to pace myself it thinks I ran 21.53km
Happy with the result, improvement from my HM in May of 2:20:26. I knew the hill was there and even practiced on it once, but it was a lot more difficult at 12 miles than a 10k training run.
