Good News about Neuro One
I’d like to shear this news from Parkinson’s News Today: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration in December 2023 cleared the device for measuring brain electrical activity and selectively destroying damaged nervous tissue during functional neurosurgery, or surgery to restore neuronal function. TUBAL SURGERY
Hi 👋 Anyone know where I can get tubal surgery to unblock both fallopian tubes. Our ivf has failed and I do not want to go through this ever again but the doctor left us with no other choice or options. I can't go through all these drugs again it's too much for me I wish everyone a successful outcome

Still Frustrated
My prostrate cancer struggle continues. As I’ve posted, it began 5 months ago with higher PSA numbers in an annual physical. I live in San Diego where there is world class medical facilities and I’ve seen the most highly recommended doctors. Yet now , I’m diagnosed with a very aggressive (Gleason 9)

Belbuca and post surgical pain.
I currently take Belbuca for RLS. I have taken Mirapex and Rotigotine with horrible augmentation symptoms upon stopping. I have also taken Gabapentin with terrible side effects. I also have tried several opioids in the past. I have taken Belbuca for the past several years. I am facing hip replacement

Tomorrow I get my Cardiac CT Results
I was hoping that I could reverse my plaque scores but after reading a medical journal, I will now be happy with status quo. This is what it states: Coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG) have been proposed to accelerate native coronary atherosclerosis. In patients with established coronary artery disease

Test results and lowered levo
Hi, Wondering if I can get some advice! During a visit to an endocrinologist (unrelated to my thyroid problems) I was surprised with thyroid function tests mid-afternoon. The results (TSH 0.04 & T4 20.4) led to the endo recommending my levothyroxine be dropped from 100mcg (a dose I’ve been on for

'The AI doctor will see you...eventually' article - Anyone else concerned?
This is an article I saw in The Economist 4 days ago (27th March): https://www.economist.com/leaders/2024/03/27/the-ai-doctor-will-see-youeventually The sub-heading of the article states: "Artificial intelligence holds huge promise in health care. But it also faces massive barriers" I know that

should I seek a third opinion about endo/adeno diagnosis?
I’m just looking for some advice about where I’m at in terms of my endometriosis and adenomyosis diagnoses. Thanks in advance if you read the entire thing! I have struggled with symptoms since I was 13: painful, heavy periods, pain during intercourse, pain during ovulation, sciatic pain, bowel issues

Post Ablation complications
Had persistent fast AFib since Nov 23, decided to go private route as my health was deteriorating. Echocardiogram Jan 24 showers severe mitral regurgitation, and ejection fraction 28%. Lots more drugs added to the cocktail and now under the care of both a cardiologist and an Electrophysiologist. Drugs

Does Gleason score still apply after RP
Hi all. I have never been able to get this question answered. My Gleason was 3+3 before having my prostate removed. It was confirmed 3+3 after surgery. One open margin of less than 1mm. No sign of spreading anywhere locally or distant. My psa was in the .02-.03 range bouncing up and down for 8 years

A year down the line and no further forward
Hi all, I was diagnosed around a year ago with hypothyroidism after weeks and weeks of dieting and exercising like mad with no results. I was dieting to get in shape for a knee replacement. My GP did blood tests which she described my thyroid as being “in my boots”. I started on 50mcg daily and

Stage 4 endo really sucks!!!!
Dear fellow warriors, I'm 28 and I'm reaching out today to share my experience with endometriosis and to seek support from those who may have experienced a similar situation. In 2019, I underwent surgery to address stage 4 endometriosis, hoping to find relief from its debilitating symptoms. However

Robotic surgery?
My mitral valve is deteriorating and surgery is in my future. I’m 72, in good health besides aFib and my valve. I’m interested in robotic surgery and if I would qualify. Curious what other folks experience is.

Can anyone name GP surgeries who actually support B12 deficiency patients who SI and who supply the necessary dosage injection ampoules for their individual need? I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday which will be an ongoing discussion of my EOD need which he knows I SI. If I get the opportunity,

Been figuring the best way to write my thanks to you all for your comments on Part 1, so, tryin’ this. Whilst I have been reading your comments I have also been reading ‘The paper in the packet’ for each of the drugs that I originally referred to. It does seem as though each of these three DOAC's side
