Is there anyone out there that is on this combination and especially if you are BRCA2?

Keytruda Immunotherapy Update
After 4 cycles (12 weeks) of Pembro (
Keytruda
) my PSA went from 86 to undetectable: < 0.01. Just started cycle 5 yesterday. I was pretty much undetectable after cycle 3 < 0.07 (different lab).

Paper published about my vaccine treatment
I did have
Keytruda
added in July, 2018, and did Xtandi for almost two years before stopping it a month ago. My SUV barely budged no matter what was added after the initial regression of around 30 tumors so it was collectively agreed that removing my prostate was the best course of action.

infusion was good. Had trouble with his port for a bit but it fixed itself. They weren’t getting ANY blood return. But eventually it opened up and we were golden. We are going to keep trudging! Our melanoma warriors are just that. Warriors.

Ryan update
We are going to continue to push forward with
Keytruda
. And once we have scans we will decide what is going on and where we will go from there. His pain is a lot better. We have cut down almost half of what he was taking pain med wise.

Some good news!
Keytruda
has worked and the tumour has had significant reduction in size. So much so the doctor is recommending that she goes to infusions every 6 weeks but at a double dose. We’re thrilled. It’s the first positive outcome since we started on this journey.

Study Shows Long-Term Survival Benefit for Certain Patients with Advanced Lung Cancer.
According to the results of a large, global study led by Yale Cancer Center researchers, even a tiny amount of a biomarker known as PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand1) can predict a long-term survival benefit from using pembrolizumab (
Keytruda
).

Small update
That would mean
Keytruda
is not doing what we hoped. His stomach pain has been ALOT less, and this new bladder pain is rather new. But it happened at the same time. Stomach pain subsided and moved to bladder pain. That’s why I am hoping it maybe just shifted and is resting in a different place.

Vomiting and sickness on keytruda?
Has anyone had the above? Mum seems to get it suddenly and it’s only happened a handful of times since November. She also has a bowel condition so we’re aware it might not be related to the treatment. Apart from that she’s had minimal side effects. Maybe a little tired but that’s all. We’ve got the
