Not too too much to update on. Ryan’s kidneys are looking great. The issue was the mass. We do believe that the mass has shifted in some way to now sit near his bladder causing him urinary issues. He is passing urine which is great! (Never thought I’d be so happy about pee) but we do not think it is a mass we didn’t know about. Of course can’t confirm until new PET. His PET scan will be scheduled after his visit with oncologist tomorrow. He will be getting blood work done as well because his infusion is on Monday. We are going to continue to push forward with Keytruda. And once we have scans we will decide what is going on and where we will go from there. His pain is a lot better. We have cut down almost half of what he was taking pain med wise. He has great days where he feels amazing and then other days where the pain is not so good. He looks better in my opinion and is taking short walks to get his blood moving and his muscles working in his legs which is huge too cause he was bed bound for a while. His hair and beard are coming back something fierce! The chemotherapy took it. But it’s coming back and looks awesome! I pray everyday that he gets more and more relief in whatever form that may come. But the little victories keep us going. He’s a warrior. I am so proud of him.
I will keep updating everyone and again thanks SO MUCH for checking in. I just told Ryan everyone was asking questions about him and it made him smile. We love each and every one of you. I am so glad to have found this place ❤️
