Medication not working
I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for nearly 20years. I’ve tried, methotrexate, Arava, adalimimab, entanercept, ruituxan, filgotinib, baracitinib and a few others that aren’t biologics. The problem is, they don’t work for me. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what are you taking now. I’m at my wits

Was on Arava for 18 months but been off for 1 year due to hospitalisation for infection, also had bad gastrointestinal probs when on so was looking at coming off beforehand. My Rheumy thinks my symptoms don't 'match' my path results recently (been on pred for years) I am in a lot of pain shoulders

Baricitinib (Olumiant) side effects - did they improve over time?
I finally took the plunge to have Olumiant on Monday 22nd after getting my blood tests/vaccines etc. It's been a bit of an up-and-down story so am wondering what other people's experiences have been like. This is a draft of what I'm going to email my Rheumatologist but thought it was worth hearing some

SE from ADT and two natural remedies I always use. Anger=kava kava, insomnia=wild lettuce.
Hi fellow warriors, i am sharing this because after being an herbalist and wild medicine harvester there are two absolutely essential herbs i use to counter ADT side effects. Be advised I make my own so cost does not factor into how much or how often i take it. The most important is wild lettuce (

Sisters Methotrexate update
My Sister is feeling so much better - not 100% but definitely getting there. She is still very tired and is on 12.5 pred. She saw the Rheumi last week and he has prescribed Arava 10mg which she will increase dosage in time, all being well. Apparently he is young, enthusiastic and very convincing when

Hi All, I have had RA since 2013 and have been well-controlled for the last 7 years with Arava (Leflunomide) and Sulfasalazine. Hello and thank you for reading or responding. I am 59 and have been on a 2 year journey to get a diagnosis. That’s a long story but now with a move to a new city and a new rheumatologist I am told I have Sjorgrens, a strongly positive diagnosis and RA with a non typical presentation. I am negative for

Does the horrendous dry mouth ever go away with Elvanse - Lisdexamfetamine ??
Hello, I'm another very late diagnosed adult with both ASD & combined ADHD. Following my recent ADHD diagnosis I had hope that my life could improve with medication, however I've been on Lisdexamfetamine (Elvanse) two months now and the dry mouth, and lips are unbearable, I developed tongue sucking

prednisone taper, what to expect
I originally started with this PMR as my diagnosis was presumed PMR. I have since been diagnosed with Sjorgens with a side of RA, not the erosive type RA. I basically have mild Sjorgens symptoms with shoulder pain and costochondroitis type pain. I’m 3 months into Plaquenil and am having some relief.

Change to Humira injection
I have had rhematoid Athritis for 30 years now and are currently in 20mg methotrexate and 20mg of arava for the last 10 yrs. My bloods are excellent and I feel great. I recently changed my rheumatologist due to moving and she wants to put me on Humira injections. I don’t want to for fear of the reviews

Taken off Baricitinib and feeling much worse!
I was taken off Olumiant/Baricitinib (at least for a while) due to high creatinine numbers. I was taking it with Arava and an occasional NSAID. Honestly, I also ate way too much chicken around the time of the blood test. I wonder if anyone here experienced high creatinine numbers due to Baricitinib.

Failure with multiple biologics for RA
Hi. Has anyone had any failures with multiple biologics and what did you do? I was doing great with Humira for a long time then I had my second child and a huge flare up during pregnancy and after, which has not settled down 1 year later. I can’t be on methotrexate and Arava caused major hair loss so

My wrists hurt and it was working like a charm and now suddenly it doesn't work well. I thought these random pains which are like sharp nerve pains were weird and are getting
