It was 7.5 or so they gave me 2 bags of FFP and finally a vitamin K shot, which I thought they shoul have tried first. Anyway my inr went down to 1.5 obviously much to

PBJ and homemade navy bean soup are mine, what are yours?
When I am trying to keep my vit k values low my go tos' are peanut butter and jam/preserves sandwiches, homemade navy bean soup with ham, skim milk and nonfat yogurt. What do others go to? I also enjoy ambrosia salad (more of a dessert)!

Does anyone else taking Warfarin eat a lot of dark green veg. Cabbage etc. I do eat these most days . Doctor says if I eat less one week or more than usual the next week it can disrupt the medication. Then I will have to go for a blood test because of the Vitamin K in these veg. I am going to buy

Warfarin.
I have now been prescribed Warfarin instead of Aspirin. Does everyone needs weekly blood tests while taking this ? It sounds complicated about vitamin K . If I eat more green veg one week and a lot less next week , I have to have blood tests. I have heard there are a lot of side affects with Warfarin

Do you drink green tea?
Hi, everyone. I have a question about green tea. Ever since getting breast cancer a number of years ago, I have been drinking green tea in hopes that there might be positive benefits in doing so. When a-fib came in Jan 2016 I stopped drinking it at the advice of my pharmacist. Does anyone on this forum

DNA study lays bare devastating damage caused by smoking
But its flawed and wrong just to blame smoking. Here's why in my opinion benzopyrene is found in petrol diesel fuel also coal tar FOR years the used coal tar to dye white car tyres black So if smoking dont get you you can bet your last £1 or $1 something else will do. Guess we all DNA predisposed LIKE

Hi I have been taking Vit D for over three years since I tested very low for it. After reading about how we should take vitamin K2 with the vit D to help the calcium reach the bones and teeth, I recently purchased some with Vit K2 MK4 but have since read it should be K2 MK7 we should take. Such bad pain in legs - could it be NDT or supplements?
Hi, I am about to get latest blood tests done but whilst waiting for the results I was just wondering whether anyone else has experienced terrible leg, feet and back pain? I have quite a high pain barrier but this is really stopping me from doing things! It is similar to the 'stretchy muscle' pain that

Antibiotics, penicillin and Warfarin.
I'm going to need an antibiotic next week for a tooth abscess and doing an advance check most seem to be contraindicated if on Warfarin. What have ones here found to suit their medication. One report of a woman given Clindamycin whose INR went up to 13 after seven days. Evidently most reduce the production
