Exercises and do they work
I have just started to get the leg pains especially when walking. I have posted before and had some lovely response. I just wanted to ask if exercises do actually help with pain. I have been doing the group of core, hip and pelvis exercises given to me by physio. Three weeks now and not missed one

Knee massager with red light
Has anyone with osteoarthritis in knees try a personal knee massager with red light instead of knee surgery? If so did it work?

Tapering
Just a quick question about tapering Prednisolone. I have had GCA since Aug 22. Have tapered down to 5mg but had the beginnings of a flare. My rheumatologist told me to go up to 7.5mg. The flare abated. I then got an infection/virus and on the advice of the rheumatology nurses increased to 10mg for a

Aortitis
I was diagnosed with non cranial Giant Cell Arteritis in September last year. So far I haven't managed to find anyone else with this condition because most people have the temporal version with the headaches.Mine is Aortitis which apparently is rare. I'd love to share experiences with someone else

New to RA /methotrexate looking for advice.
Been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few weeks ago and starting methotrexate tomorrow which I’m starting on 10mg for 2 weeks then 15mg for 2 weeks then 20mg from there, also 5mg of folic acid the other six days and 5mg of prednisone for now but reducing it. Do I need to worry about anything ?

New to THIS GROUP
Hi , I have been diagnosed with arthritis. I have been having pains in both legs similar to sciactica . I saw a physio and after a few exercises she said it was nothing to do with nerve pain or spine. Apparently the muscles around the bones are weak and I have exercises to do every day for 6 weeks
