IUD and acne
I’m due to have my laparoscopy shortly and after speaking with the doctor he recommends having the Mirena coil fitted I also have PCOS and have struggled with acne for years. I finally have my skin in a good place but a friend mentioned how bad her skin went with the coil 😭. Has anyone experienced

Hi there, I had the copper coil fitted 10 days ago and have been bleeding intermittently since and losing quite big blood clots, I am also in a lot of pain with it. Is this normal?

Advice needed - mirena coil
Hi girls, just after a bit of advice. Had the mirena coil fitted a year ago, was having 2-3monthly bleeds and was hoping they were getting more and more apart. But the past two months I've had monthly bleeds near enough exactly a month to the date. They are so painful but not as heavy as they used to

Feeling so low - just need to vent
I haven't felt this low in a while. There a few major factors in my life that don't feel quite right at the moment, but I don't know how/when to tackle them - my relationship and career being two of them, and I turn 30 in a week! I had some awful pain the other day, searing pain that takes your breath

Fertility Advice!
Hello! I just wanted to reach out and ask for a bit of advice. I’m 27 and started my periods when I was 12. Throughout my teenage years, my periods were extremely irregular and I really suffered with weight gain and bad skin. I was on the pill but when I was 17, I went to my GP and asked to be tested

Bleeding after IUD fitted 1.5 years ago
Hi All, I had my
IUD
(Mirena) fitted in December 2017 and didn't have many issues up until recently. I have noticed that I have spotting around when my period should be, but this is lasting much longer than it used to (around 10 days).

IUD/COIL Enquiry
I’ve had the kyleena coil fitted since July last year, and for the last 3 months I’ve started getting periods... is this normal or should I get it checked? I thought you didn’t get periods on the coil!

Endo and acne
Does the hormones related to endo cause acne? I have had really bad acne on and off for years, I’m 29 and it has left loads of scarring and knocked my confidence. It just doesn’t seem to go away. Is there anything I can do for this? Would the coil help with this?

Lap Date Finally!
Hi you lovely Endo Warriors! So I finally have a date for a lap, 25th of October, the gynae doctor suspects endo and will remove any traces if they show up on the lap then I am being fitted with the mirena coil. So my question is, what to expect? I know everyone is different and we all heal differently

Nexplanon Implant to IUD Coil
I am considering the
IUD
Coil, mostly because I am bleeding so often on the implant and this is now having an impact on my relationship. Does anyone have any advice? Or has anyone used either contraception/both forms? What did you prefer?

Fibroid and cyst found - think I have endo too, would love some advice and support as it’s scary!
Hi ladies - what a fantastic forum! Will cut a long story short, had a complicated medical history for the last 18 months, not helped by being misdiagnosed; diaphragmatic hernia that bowel looped through (botched op resulting in pneumonia and bilateral pulmonary embolisms), osophogitus and stomach ulcers

ICD has shocked. What now?
My Dad has had an ICD for years, but in the early hours of Sunday morning he started to feel dizzy and faint and then his ICD triggered. He started to feel better, so didn't go to AandE. His ICD is monitored, but only during working hours on weekdays. They must have picked up what had happened on Monday

5Day EFT transfer, on day 8 negative HPT.
We transferred 1 embryo, 5day/grade AB, tested normal for PGS. I’m hoping and praying that it’s to soon to test and that’s why it resulted in a negative test. When we did the transfer, my doctor said it was a good chance that it will stick. I have my blood work on Wednesday 10/9. I’m hoping to eat
