Advice needed - mirena coil

Hi girls, just after a bit of advice. Had the mirena coil fitted a year ago, was having 2-3monthly bleeds and was hoping they were getting more and more apart. But the past two months I've had monthly bleeds near enough exactly a month to the date. They are so painful but not as heavy as they used to be. Ive also been extremely bloated for the past year and im thinking this could be the culprit. I also gained a stone within two months of having it put in.

Now the question is, do I get it removed or not? Im seriously debating getting it removed but im scared that I will regret it. I was on the pill before the coil and had horrific mood swings, loss of sex drive etc so I don't want to go back to that. Im looking at the contraceptive patch but unsure how this helps endo? Im just looking at the fact that I can control my periods with that whereas I can't on the mirena coil.
