Endo and acne

Does the hormones related to endo cause acne? I have had really bad acne on and off for years, I’m 29 and it has left loads of scarring and knocked my confidence. It just doesn’t seem to go away. Is there anything I can do for this? Would the coil help with this?

Yes, it very much is related to hormones. My endo didn't get diagnosed until I was menopausal and I had teenage style acne all those years unless I was on the pill. So any treatment that will combat the endo should improve your acne.

The only other treatment that I found helped the acne was a Chinese lotion called 101E, it comes in a gold box with a purple bottle inside. Any Chinese herbalist will have this, but if there's none near you it is available online.

Thank you, I’m going to see my gp this week to speak about my options. I will look in to the herbal remedy
