I have had 5 laparoscopies, only 1 showed endometriosis back in 2011. My symptoms are really bad and have tried everything from the pill to coil and also prostap, only to go and see a new consultant last month to be told that my symptoms are all psychological and nothing can be done because I've tried everything. I am currently on morphine and nearly house bound because of all the symptoms I have. My bleeding is so heaving that I am flooding through both a tampon and a pad in next to no time aswell. I am bleeding constantly and have been with only a few days in between since having my little girl in february. I am just so fed up that I have to face life like this and no one can help me. I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and what advise you could offer. Thanks

Sorry to hear this. This isn't something I've experienced but I was wondering if anyone has suggested you may have another condition called adenomyosis? It's like endo but is in the muscles of the uterus, and can make the uterus appear bulky on scans or in laps. And as you've said you've had some clear surgeroes where endo has not been seen, maybe it could be you have this other condition?
No, this has never been suggested at all. I have endometriosis on my records as it showed up on the one lap back in 2011 but since then they have fobbed me off saying the amount of pain I have doesn't correlate with the amount of endometriosis that was found. At the moment I'm just facing a life stuck on morphine, severely anaemic because of the amount of bleeding and being conscious of going out because I'm just flooding constantly. The pain is horrific to the point that I struggle to even have my little girl on my lap let alone picking her up. I've been told that there's nothing further that can be done and I just have to come to terms with this is going to be my life. I've got to be honest that I hadn't planned to have children until I was 30 (27 now) but a gynaecologists told me it would alleviate all my symptoms, but that wasnt true as it also continued throughout my pregnancy as the adhesions were stretching so much. Sorry for the rant, I'm just at my wits end with all and dont see the point of carrying on sometimes
Are you based on the UK? Have you seen a specialist at a BSGE centre not a general gynecologist? As they have better knowledge and know the amount you have doesn't always correlate to the pain you get.
In England you can ask your gp to refer you to a bsge centre, there's some critters but the fact your symptoms have continued should warrant them trying to refer you. They work with other specialist such as pain management, colorectal surgeons etc. In Scotland I think your gynecologist has to refer you
