In July last year I was given the coil and had numerous problems which meant I was put on the pill AS WELL. This sorted out all problems for me and I haven’t had any bleeding for months! But I am worried I’m becoming to comfortable on both of these and question if I should try and come off of the

Slow growing or doomed?
Hi everyone, new to this forum. I am 32, have had three miscarriages in the past year and a half and the last one was a complete molar pregnancy. We have started IVF in hopes of collecting and freezing embryos as I have very low AMH (0.44), FSH was normal. I started last week, we are at max dose 450

IUI round 2
3 days post insemination and I think I'm dealing with this TWW much better than the first time. I don't have the same urge to test which is great. OTD is 22nd May 🤞🏾 Reading about other women's blessings is so nice and giving me hope. Baby dust to us all 💖

hcg levels
Hi, I had IUI 18 days ago and had blood test today that says i’m pregnant and HCG level is 117. I’m worried that is too low. I’m retesting on Wed but wondering if anyone has experience of things working out when the number was that low on day 18. thanks!

Nebivolol beta blockers making palpitations and heart rate more erratic.
Hi, I am new here and wanted to ask if anyone has had any side effects with Nebivolol. I have atrial fibrillation and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and am fitted with an ICD. I have now been taking 5mg Nebivolol for about 10 days now after my ICD shocked me 5 times and ended up in hospital. I was on

Nothing is working anymore
Hi, just needing some advice. I was diagnosed in 2017 and have since been taking a vast range of meds. In July 2020, I was in A&E for multiple nights with pain and was told I may have Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder. I had antibiotics and everything but that pin has never gone away. At the moment, my painkillers

Feeling a little failed
Hi guys. I had a telephone appointment with my Doctor on Thursday. She said she can't refer me to a specialist due to only trying 1 form of contraception (I have tried a numerous amount of pills). She has told me I have to have the coil fitted and see how I get on for 6 months and then maybe she will

Morning Everyone, I'm back again for another round of 'Give me a goddamn baby' and yesterday was my consultancy day. I signed all of my forms, had lots of blood taken, had some swabs done and left with a fortnight worth of reading material and an enormous smile on my face! Now I am just waiting for

Damage to Basal Ganglia
Had a cardiac arrest in December 2020 and then suffered a TIA in February 2021. Doctors found a PFO and put the mini stroke down to that, but a subsequent MRI on my brain has suggested that I didn’t have a stroke at all and that the hypoxia from the cardiac arrest was the culprit of my limb numbness

ICD AT 20
Hello. I have longQT2 syndrome and have all my life as it’s genetic. I had a collapse a couple of months ago and my cardiologist has decided I’m at high risk and need an ICD as beta blockers are not enough protection for me. I’m so nervous at how this could change my life especially being 20, I do however

Safe? Or not?
I have had an ICD for three years now. No problem at all. Trouble is, I'm down for a colonoscopy. Is the procedure still safe for those with an ICD? Worried!

Copper coil problems or normal?
I had the copper coil fitted just over a week ago. I was expecting bleeding from it but I'm experiencing some significant blood loss. I can only describe it similar to blood loss after giving birth. I'm not really getting pain, but I'm feeling a lot of lower abdomen discomfort which radiates down my

Josh Downie has Fatal Heart Attack at 24
A common question with most forms of heart disease is why me, I am too young, etc. Josh Downie's unfortunate death at 24 shows that heart disease can strike at any age. I know someone who had stents at 30 and someone else who was fitted with an ICD at the same age. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire
