I had my laparoscopy done on the 25th of April this year. I had all the symptoms of endometriosis (extreme pain, heavy periods, irregular periods, cramping, bloating, pain during and after sex etc), and had to basically force the gynaecologist on the phone to get me an appt for a laparoscopy. Discomfort from ICD fitted five months ago
Hi Has anyone here had to have the ICD refitted? DH says he is in constant pain from the implant site and it is stopping him from taking walksoutside the house since he gsts random shooting pains - not at every step, but bad enough to make him want to avoid it. Sitting, standing, lying down, moving

No endo found
Girls I feel so lost. On Thursday I had my laparoscopy, they didn't find anything. They tried to send me home without telling me anything other than they didn't find anything and I could be discharged so I said I needed to know more as they did a hysteroscopy and fitted a coil but last I knew was they

After 13yrs finally have an answer!
Warning, could be a tad too much information for people below! After 13yrs of symptoms and issues I finally have a diagnosis!! Symptoms started just after my second son was born although thinking back now I think I had symptoms in my teens. Fobbed off by many GP’s and then finally found one who listened

From two weeks wait to a week of seeing my baby.
I really can’t believe it, in a week I’ll see my baby, we have been so lucky and I’m so grateful for becoming a mother. No one really get it how excited I am, family and friends are happy for me but no one really get it what I’ve been through to get here… only you ladies ❤️ This journey has been extremely

#WellnessWednesday What's the deal with TMS for OCD?
Hey everyone, If there's one thing we get a lot of questions about, it's TMS. YES! Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. If you haven't heard this term before, here is a quick explanation of what TMS is:
TMS is a non-invasive way of “stimulating” (or changing) activity in the brain using magnetic fields

Post COVID recovery from heart failure, suffering with very low heart rate and very concerned and worried what’s happening to me.
Good morning everyone I’m looking for some advice, I’m sure people may have seen my posts the past few months, from being told I had heart failure back In January after an echo, then starting on medications to then having a cardiac stress MRI in May I’ve recovered from what looks like heart failure caused

Mirena Coil flipped upside down & embedded
Hi, has anyone been through something similar? So it has now been 3 attempts to remove my coil. Today they tried as a hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic, 20 mins in and in so much pain they gave up. When they had one last look with the camera they noticed the coil and flipped upside down, strings wrapped

Missing Mirena coil
Hello I’m wondering if anyone can help. I had a procedure on Saturday to remove a fibroid and to remove my Mirena coil. After the procedure the nurse advised that the marina coil wasn’t there. Yesterday I received a letter to say that I’d been discharged from the gynaecologist. This morning I called

Confused
Having had a number of sudden acute cardiac arrests ( all but one in hospital) 7 weeks ago , I was fitted with an ICD and am now recovering at home. My cardiologist has said today that his working diagnosis is tacotsubo syndrome also called “ broken heart syndrome “ But also calls it “ long QT syndrome

Heart Failure diagnosis and pacemaker/ICD
My dad has been diagnosed with heart failure and 8 months had an ejection fraction of 40. As of 3 days ago, it was 20 and was therefore yesterday given a pacemaker and ICD. Does anyone have any experience of this. Ideally with heart failure and a similar EF since I understand that heart failure will
