looking for advice/support - newly diagnosed and struggling.
I was taken to theatre in April for lap surgery (they only drained my cysts and sorted an intestinal adhesion) and following this was diagnosed with endometriosis. I wasn’t aware of the condition until this happened. Following this I have felt so isolated and have had no support. I saw a gynae 9 weeks

ICD's
Hi everyone, I've been waiting for a ICD fitted for over six months now and every time I call to ask for a date the hospital just says they will let me know but nothing happens so I was just wondering if anyone knew what the average waiting time is for this procedure

is there a cardiac uniform at all?
I was called Iron Man by my son after I had the ICD fitted. He’s into his Marvel universe but it stuck in my head. Each time I attend a hospital appointment I wear my Iron Man T-shirt. It’s become something of a uniform for me. makes me feel better in places full of ill people.

Only option was Mirena
IUD
(which I already have) and mini pill (which I took for a year and never again, turned out I have progesterone intolerance). Having to go privately with Benenden thanks to the length of the waiting lists and just looking for some guidance. Thanks!

Ongoing problems 8 months since surgery
I noticed a horrible, recurring shoulder/chest pain a couple of years ago which I initially put down to a possible injury. I realised something was wrong when it started getting worse, affecting my breathing and making me not want to talk when the pain was at it's worst. I called the GP who put me on

Merina coil and menopause
I had a merina coil fitted 2 years ago because of fibroids. After a few months my periods settled and and have only had 3 lights periods in the past year. How will I know if it’s menopause or the coil causing my few periods I’m 51.

Stopping Amiodarone Because of Side-Effects
Hi all, just wanted to share this with the group in case anyone else has had a similar experience. I have been taking Amiodarone since my last(yes, I've had 2!) cardiac arrest in Christmas 2019, with no obvious side-effect apart from burning easily in the sunshine. However, around 6 weeks ago

mirena coil help
Hi, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 endo through a lap last year. I was fine until a couple of months ago and now the pain is back for 2 solid weeks out of every month. My surgeon is reluctant to perform a hysterectomy because he said i have too much scaring and the risks are extremely high.

Hello my lovelies. I had my first laparoscopy (and excision of endo) three weeks ago this coming Monday. I came on my period four days after surgery. It's now day 17 and I'm going crazy. It's not particularly heavy I'm - not using tampons of course, and the blood is only there in my urine and when
