Missed miscarriage and endo
Hi warriors, Just wanted to share my story, because I feel so low and heartbroken, and I'm sure there are women here who can relate to my experience. The loss that comes with a miscarriage is hard enough, but then when I also have endo, it's that sinking feeling that my womb is just broken and it's

Updates on icd and swimming pool
I posted the same question in "living with an icd support group" on facebook. More than 80 people answered, only one lady had been shocked due to electrical interference. She was in a pool with under the water lights being repaired.

pink blood discharge ( mirena coil related or endo?)
hi all, I’ve had my endometriosis surgically removed last year in June and had the coil fitted then. everything has been fine so far but has taken a while for my body to settle down with everything especially with my hormones from being on zodalex for six months and then had the mirena coil fitted

Hi everyone, I had a cardiac arrest back in February this year. I was out running with a friend, and towards the end of the run we did a sprint finish resulting in my heart stopping and I collapsed. Luckily my friend knew CPR and saved my life that day. He did it till the ambulance came and I’m

Mirena coil
Does anyone have experience of mirena coil? I'm approaching 50 and my GP has suggested switching to that from Gedarel (combined pill), which I've been on for years with no problems. I've never liked the idea of the coil but they won't prescribe Gedarel after 50... Hopefully I'll have reached the menopause

Help interpreting results & likelihood of diagnosis if I saw a private practitioner.
Good afternoon, I’m at my wit’s end and would very much appreciate help interpreting recent blood tests and symptoms. I previously posted a few weeks back with details of private tests carried out with Monitor my Health on 24/1/23. They were as follows: TSH 4.74 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2) FT4 13.9 pmol/

6 weeks post excision surgery and still can’t walk far.
Hi, I’m 42 years old and I had a laparoscopy with four incisions 6 weeks ago. The surgeon said endo was severe and excised it from all of my reproductive organs and from my bladder, pelvic ligaments and an artery. They also removed endo cysts from both ovaries. Apparently everything was stuck together

Endo and Merina Coil
Hey ladies! I've just come back from my first gynaecology appointment. I've been told I have very common symptoms that point to my pain being endometriosis related (I already have pcos) I was under the impression I was there to discuss the laparoscopy my Dr referred me for, however my Gyno said that

Can Alcohol trigger Tachycardia?
Hi evryone. I had a heart attack in late 2019, and soon after had an ICD fitted. After 2 years of getting to know a new array of feelings in my chest I was, until a couple of weeks ago, feeling very well and very confident. But a week ago I had a serious event where I was informed my ICD nearly went

Anyone had an ivf after Adenomyomectomy Surgery for removing Adenomyosis and /or large intramural fibroids?
It has been 3.5 month passed from my operation , they put a device similar to an
IUD
in my womb to prevent adhesions and I am currently on Decapeptyl ( similar to Zoladex) injections not having periods to help if any endo remained and also postponing of potential return of fibroids and/or endo.

Ablation happening soon
Hey everyone So back in march I had an abnormal rythym detected by my ICD. I had an emergency meeting with a cardiologist about having an ablation. I honestly freaked out due to some horrible experiences, he put my mind at rest. I've had my pre-op assessment which was a phone call with an awesome nurse

PIPS and heart failure
Good morning all. As a brief summary I have severe LV impairment and HF with ICD fitted. I found out this week that my EF has fallen from 35 to 21%. I've been put on dapaglaflozin with epelerone to follow. I work 25 hrs per week but feel it might be wise to drop to 20 hrs. Any advice about applying for
