Yesterday I went to replace my IUD, It came out quite easily , when the nurse went to put a new one in she struggled. Stated that she felt something was blocking the pathway (guessing that’s the canal part) and thinks after her years of previously being a gynaecologist it’s a possible Cervical Fibroid. she said it was a rare place to have it and would refer my for a cervical scan as my previous scan 2-3 months ago and smear test in 2020 came back normal. So my question to you all is …
Has anyone been diagnosed with Cervical fibroid and I’m I worrying and surfing major anxiety for nothing ?

Thank you for your reply, did a scan pick that up? I’m thinking surely my transviginal scan would have picked the “apparent” fibroid or anything else that seemed abnormal. Let see how long it takes for a scan appointment 🙄 the stress is making me sick. 😫
I understand you are worried, I worry about everything. I ve just had a hysterectomy for multiple fibroids pressing everywhere possibly on my cervix too, as when I had a coil it moved and I pulled it out my self. Later to be told it could have been the fibroids pushing it out.
Fibroids are nothing to worry about and if you do have fibroids they can be removed not having to have a hysterectomy like me.
However it could also be adhesions as previously said, easy said than do but try not to worry. See what ur scan says, has she referred you urgent or routine? X
I am suffering the same. Just did my cervical screening and found a “cervical lesion fibroid” I am so stressed waiting the results. And it is so rare that you can’t find many things online. Please keep us updated about your situation and I am wishing all the best . 🫶
