Can't find proper thyroid medication
My vitamins are all optimal as well (vtiamin D,
iron
, ferratin, b12, selenium). I've also had my adrenals tested and the levels are normal. when taking t4 only or t4 + t3 I feel the most "normal" but I have TONS of hair shedding, and it doesn't stop.

Update 7.8
While I feel better with my
iron
levels higher, I do not want to risk too much compromise to my immune system. My next doses would be 12/20, 01/03, 01/17. An appointment with my local hematologist is pending. I am scheduled for a consultation with the MPN Specialist 01/22.

I’m unsure if I have a b12 deficiency?
as I am on them right now as my
iron
serum come back low which is due to my heavy periods. I was so convinced as I had all the symptoms like last time.

I can't take
iron
as my body rejects it and my blood count seems to just be okay even though I'm bleeding every day. Anybody have a similar story to mine? Any help, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Persuading GP to test T3
She has taken
iron
tablets with only a little improvement and now stopped because she feels fed up with taking them. I suggested she should bring her yearly blood test forward a bit and she is awaiting the results. However, she said her GP didnt test T3 so they may not be that revealing.

Gentle iron
Hi everone,Following on from my recent posts regarding
iron
supplements, I would like to let you know that I have doubled my
iron
intake in the last couple of days and it has helped my RLS . It broke through at 5am, but from 9pm until the breakthrough at 5am, I was mostly free from symptoms.

Can anyone shed light on my blood test results? Taking NDT. Thank you!
I take a number of supplements:
iron
, magnesium, selenium, probiotic, zinc, ashwagandha (for cortisol). I am having occasional night time hypoglycaemic episodes (according to a CGM that I'm trying out), so not sure if that's related. Any thoughts here and way forward at all?

Anagrelide in UK and in the USA😱
More recently, and only since her Anagrelide has been reduced from 21 a week to 14 a week she has not had the big bleeds, but has been told she is losing blood from somewhere, hence the regular RBC transfusions and
iron
infusions. She easily drops around 2 points a week of her Hgb.

Autoimmune thyroiditis with lump in throat as first symptom and normal thyroid levels - medication necessary?
My thyroid results seem normal but I have low b12, ferritin,
iron
and folic acid. Should my doctor prescribe thyroid medication if the levels are ok or just deal with the deficiencies? I really want to resolve my throat issues as I am very uncomfortable.

serum iron
I have just had a letter, my serum
iron
was 12 there is no mention of anything else. The registrar has written “ Low
iron
can make restless legs worse and therefore I would be grateful if you could investigate and treat this as you feel appropriate “.

Zinc and Selenium balance
Hi All, just wondering how much zinc and selenium I should supplement to help with T4 to T3 conversion.. and can anyone recommend a gentle
iron
that won't make me constipated.? B12 levels are fine.

The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
It’s known to contribute to RLS and it does have something to do with poor
iron
metabolism and adenosine build up. Nothing much one can do about that! In addition, it’s clear to me that I suffer from serotonin toxicity which is a mild form of serotonin syndrome.
