iron related help
hi there I just received my blood test results and my Haemoglobin, RBC and HCT were slightly lower than guidelines but my full
iron
panel came back in range. Spoke to GP who said she isn’t worried and to eat
iron
rich food and a multivitamin & to test again in 3 months.

Iron results-any advice?
Ferritin much better than it's been, which is interesting, as I've not been taking
iron
tablets since Oct...but still lowish. Should I restart low dose of ferrous fumarate? Or not? Thank you!

Headaches and sleep issues
I spoke to my surgeon about this during my final chat with him before full discharge and he said to expect headaches, apparently the leftover
iron
from the bleed can cause them as well.

Switch from Besremi to Jakafi
First five years after diagnosis I was treated with monthly phlebotomy and baby aspirin only. 5 yrs of monthly phlebotomy took its toll and
iron
deficiency and high platelets led me to besremi which had just been approved. Started besremi about 2 1/2 years ago.

Anemia, and low thyroid stage IV MBC
I have been taking moringa and yellow dock to raise my
iron
. I have only been doing this for about a month. It’s so far has raised my
iron
a tiny bit. I saw my oncologist today who wants to give me IV
iron
, which she said would pass the gut. I am fearful that
iron
feeds cancer.

Any Advice On Dosing NDT?
Also I'd like to confirm I need to leave at least 4 hours from taking the NDT to taking an
iron
supplement? Many thanks 🙂

Can I take T3 with tea and coffee?
My GP says that I need to allow 4 hours for
iron
and 2 for food and other supplements. Is that correct? I hear also that the above applies to T4 but not T3. I just would like to know what is best.

From the little I've found, it appears to be an improvement over the otc pills, and might avoid the side effects of
iron
injections or infusions?

Restless Legs Syndrome
My
iron
levels have improved slightly but not enough to help my restless legs I am very anemic. I was shown a graph by my doctor recording my
iron
levels which showed a straight line since 2015. Thank you.

B2 benefits for PD
I’ve also started to take inositol that helps with OCD and has natural
iron
chelation properties that could be responsible for problems with PD. I’m guessing if you’re reading this, you probably have some OCD tendencies, which is very common with. Parkinson’s.

Has anyone watched any of Dr Berg's youtube videos about B1 (Thiamine) deficiency and RLS?
I know RLS is associated with
iron
dysfunction but the Dr's video's are so very interesting. I've watched a couple of them now and he talks specifically about RLS and B1 deficiences. He mentions a lab test for testing B1 levels. Just wanted to share if anyone has interest in watching.

Anaemia test results
BUT Would you supplement
iron
with these results? I can't afford to do a full
iron
panel, and I had assumed this test would be enough to make a decision. Haemoglobin: 130g/l Ferritin: 75 TSAT: 38% Active B12: 81 Folate: 4.9 Does anyone know the ranges for Monitor my health results?

hi there I just received my blood test results and my Haemoglobin, RBC and HCT were slightly lower than guidelines but my full

Thyroid Blood Test Results
I had my blood test at 10.30am and I’m also taking vitamin B12, folic acid, and
iron
supplements as I’ve been low on those before, though the doctor hasn’t tested my levels for any of those issues in a while.
