Waiting on ultrasound results
I also have low
iron
that I’m on tablets for and high B12 (which they don’t seem to be concerned about). I’m due repeat bloods in August. I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism but they don’t want to do anything about it until I’ve had my repeat bloods.

3 Arrows Heme dose & Raising T3 - how long might it take?!
Medichecks recommendation is this: "You continue to have slightly low transferrin, however, as your ferritin level is normal this suggests healthy
iron
stores. I recommend optimising your dietary
iron
intake to prevent your stores becoming depleted." 2 questions: 1.

teeth clenching
I’m titrating NDT Armour over the last year but I’ve got a hypo symptom that’s bothering me, nighttime teeth clenching. I have no knowledge I’m doing this. I take amitriptyline and once I get to sleep midnight to 1am, I’m out for the count. I think the dentist told me September 2023 that I was clenching

Tigger is bouncing around Winnie the Pooh, because he is happy his RLS is better
I was originally trialing 5 microgram 7 day patches that got me out of that dark tunnel but wasn’t 100% effective so after the initial 3 week trial I wrote to Dr Christopher Murphy explained the situation and he arranged for me to collect 10 microgram 7 day patches from Salford Royal Infirmary. I applied

TMS/TBS, Buprenorphine tip
I have just completed TMS/TBS(theta burst stimulation) treatments(36 TMS+10 TMS/TBS) It has been a game changer for the post Dopamine agonist depression, that was quite severe and unresponsive to meds. I currently have no depression symptoms. What I have found is that the RLS symptoms are decreased

The Next Step
Do I insist on referral for
iron
infusion ? I am considering asking for a private referral to a neurologist but need to manage my RLS in the meantime. Sorry for the ramble but any suggestions gratefully received.

Amgevita - low energy
I've emailed the hospital today to ask if it might be chronic illness anaemia or due to
iron
deficiency, just waiting to hear back from them. I'm tempted to just go and get some Feroglobin
iron
capsules as this fatigue isn't much fun. Appreciate any advice.

Advice on iron supplements
My ferrin is low, so I'm going to start
iron
supplements. I'd appreciate any good quality links and sources of information re: dosage. I intend to test ferritin again in 4-6 weeks. Onwards and upwards! 😊

Hashimoto
Over the last some years I found out a lot about related illness that I have like high cholesterol, teeth problems, on and off
iron
deficiency etc. Doctors are usually ignorant when I point out the relationship to Hashimoto and therefore I feel very much alone with my thoughts.

What Bloodwork for initial RLS appointment?
For my first visit, I would like to have all relevant bloodwork done BEFORE my appointment:
iron
, folate, B, etc. For example, there seem to be different "
iron
" tests. This will give us a heads-up on my RLS and something to talk about.

Anemia & Aspirin
I've had 2 bouts of profound
iron
deficiency anemia in which the cause was never clearly identified (had 2 complete GI workups). I just read an article that states baby aspirin could be the culprit. Looks like my bloodwork may be heading in that direction again.

Gluten/Dairy restriction, can it really affect your blood results in a short time?
I am going to do another private test soon with T4 and T3 and B12/
iron
/vit d to check these.

Iron panel results - is this normal or something to be concerned about?
I haven't been taking any
iron
supplementation for a while. I tested because I've been ill (chronic urticaria) and haven't been able to tolerate
iron
supplements. Fasted over 12 hours beforehand, didn't take anything with biotin for over 10 days.

Dr appr tomorrow
With a ferritin level of 39, as well as all other
iron
levels well below “normal”, perhaps he will offer better options than the nurse practitioner, as well as offer me options on medication for insomnia.

Does sore throat come with hypothyroidism and Hashi?
Normal anti-TG, but raised anti-TPO at 150, though it's been hovering at 100-150 for years and has never caused problems with a sore throat (and I lowered it from 600 originally through a GF diet, supplementation, etc) I supplement with vit D, B12,
iron
, Betaine, zinc, etc and test regularly to make
