Test result low TSH high T4
Folate is low and serum ferritin on the low side too (27ugl range 13-150)Not too sure how much
iron
supplements I should take.? From the results, have I gone hyper? What is the next step? Reducing Levothyroxin and have a new blood test in a couple of month?

I wanted to cry when I pointed at my low
iron
/ 19% transferrin, asking if they think it could be causing fatigue and they said “I only test ferritin, the rest don’t matter”.

Doctors ignored my symptoms did not do anything almost killed me with an
iron
infusion. I’m just so happy and so grateful for all of you that have helped me through this journey. I see Dr. Mesa in August I know blood can go up and down but I’m just so grateful at this point good luck to everyone

decluttering....so much more than we need!
The things that are most precious to me include a cherry wood twin bed that mom got when she was young, my grandm wsother's bread knife and a couple of cast
iron
pans. I wonder what our kids will treasure! They've already told me that they don't want any of our vases.

Thyroid levels advice for friend with newly dx Hashi and P.A please?
Symptom wise there's so many crossovers with P.A and she is also
iron
anaemic. Ferritin didn't show in the screenshot but it was low and she now has
iron
infusions.

Has anyone ever had an Iron infusion?
I find it hard to get my levels of
iron
up despite eating red meat and green veg and supplementing, and wondered if anyone had tried an
iron
infusion either on the NHS or privately.

new results 👍&👎
I have struggled to find an
iron
supplement that doesn’t upset my tummy and so I’ve just ordered the patches someone mentioned in a previous post and will give them a go.

Melatonin
At the time my rls symptoms had totally stopped following an
iron
infusion. However, prior to actually starting the melatonin, they came back mildly. Having been on the melatonin for a month, they seem worse and rls is listed as a rare side effect.

Moderate mitral valve regurgitation/prolapse
The only thing he added was that he “probably wouldn’t recommend an
iron
man competition”. He said that as the MVR was moderate, it made sense that I could do moderate exercise. He also said that he had other patients on his books that were still running marathons.

What to do ….
I’m also on EPO injections because I was extremely anaemic for a long time despite
iron
infusions etc. I do feel the pandemic has also contributed to not having bmb etc sooner as it was only in March this year I had a face to face appointment - since January 2020.

Do I need levothyroxine?
Iron
and ferritin both at the low end. My issue is that I also have a possible issue with mild cervical stenosis which could also be causing some symptoms of which I am awaiting MRI results. My question is could Tpo antibodies and TSH and T4 at those levels possibly require levothyroxine?
