Also going to request full
iron
assessment from my GP in the meantime and hope to get that ready before my appointment with Dr Thomas. The assessment could have been done years ago but can’t recall the results. Should this be monitored regularly?

Ferratin level
My ferratin is in the 'normal' range but low and dropping, even though I have been taking oral
iron
spray daily, liquid
iron
supplement given by my doctor, high
iron
foods in my diet. I get days of complete fatigue, other days I can cope but not as much energy as I'm used to. Not sure what next?

Anyone know anything about ferritin and trans ferritin saturation levels?
How do I increase my
iron
levels if I need to, with high transferritin saturation levels? I should add that I am mostly vegetarian and take a multivitamin that has quite a low strength level of
iron
in it. Active B12 is 61pmol and folate is 18.3 ug is this ok?

New Medichecks Results - grateful for any thoughts…advice…
And also an
iron
supplement and test again in 12 weeks. **I’ve seen the oral
iron
spray and wondered if that would be any good/ok as the vit d spray seems to be working for me? Then the medi gp said “Your tsh has reduced to 0.187, whilst your T3 and thyroxine are stable.

Getting tested after taking any supplements...
I will also keep a close eye on my ferritin as he treated that too with an infusion (also
iron
flu is NO joke, but I have turned the corner finally), and my folate, plus my vitamin D which is insufficient.

Running on Empty with Headspace
I know from last time, that it takes 2-3 weeks to get my
iron
levels up sufficiently to run at pre donations levels. So I loaded this run up, determined to take it slowly and walk if necessary. Andy was encouraging me to run by feel, not to a pace or a distance.

TSH dropping, but FT4 stuck
Having taken advice on here previously I know you need to know other levels, I have been supplementing with:
Iron
/vit C to tackle my low ferritin (was 18ug/L in September23, now (March 24) 44ug/L range11 to 307) VitB12 injections (was 213ng/L in August - range above 203) - no new test on the basis

Ferritin success, anyone wishing to try the same ... especially if vegan
A big thank you, and I hope you know who you are because I can't remember your name. 2) I've started supplementing with a different
iron
, this is called
Iron
Energy+ and is produced by Nutrition Geeks'. It contains Vitamins C, B12 and folic acid as well as
iron
. Best of luck

A Method To Increase Ferritin Level
Supplementing
iron
and eating
iron
rich foods will elevate it a bit more for me but what has worked the best is
iron
as a transdermal patch. These can easily be bought on Amazon.

Iron Panel results - thoughts please!
I eat pumpkin seeds every day and regularly eat
iron
rich veggies so I don't understand where I'm going wrong. I 100% have symptoms of low
iron
all the time... Thanks so much for any feedback. GTS

Off B12 a week before B12 blood test or not?
Hello, my mum is due a repeat B12 blood test (and hoping for a full
iron
panel too which I have just requested) - does she need to stop the B12 supplements a week before the blood test? Or is stopping B vitamins only necessary before the thyroid blood tests? Many thanks.

Symptoms suddenly taking a turn for the worse
When should I start to feel better from taking more
iron
? Is 4 weeks too optimistic? 2. What should you do once your
iron
levels reach the required amount? Continue taking the product, but, say, every 3 or 4 days instead of every 2 days?

blood results low platelets?
GP said all is fine but I take a B12 and barocca and think my
iron
seems low and so does my MCHC so I wonder if am anaemic? I also wonder if I should have a B12 patch as am not vegan and it is still low and why have i got low platelets and low red hemoglobin?
