Daughters bloods, awful GP's
Did get blood forms for FBC, ferritin,
iron
studies, so yay me and got injection brought forward a week so yay me. Also pointed out still no one has identified causes of deficiencies and that folic acid is not the same as folate.

For anyone who is on T3 only... When did you realise you needed it?
I'm also taking
iron
, b12, b complex, selenium etc even though my levels for those were all ok as I want them to be optimal. Haven't retested but may do soon. Just wondered for those who made the jump to T3 only, when did you realise you needed to?

Help sought with iron panel, please
I don't understand
iron
panels, despite trying to read up on them, and would be very grateful for help as to whether (a) it's advisable for me to take
iron
supplements to raise my ferritin (even if the latter test is accurate, it's still below optimal, I believe). (b) anything else jumps out.

Blood results
They are refusing any more than 3 monthly B12 as this falls outside guidelines and they have given me more
iron
tablets which I have already told them I can’t tolerate but because my Hb is normal, they won’t consider
iron
infusion.

T3 starting dose too high?
I started taking b12 and
iron
at that stage in February. 3 weeks ago I went to a functional doctor and he told me that my vit D was low and to take two sprays of the 3000ui Vit D and put me on Thybon.

additional test results
Hi, After my initial blood tests (listed in my previous post) 2 weeks ago showed hypothyroidism and
iron
deficient anemia my gp ordered some additional tests to establish the cause. These were taken at 8:45am in the morning fasted. Please could you help me interpret what they mean?

PCOS HASHIMOTOS FBC RESULTS ADVICE NEEDED
I recently has blood tests done and received my results today for thyroid function (they didn't do T3)
Iron
profile, full hormone profile and blood count. My FBC has come back high in some and I'm not really sure what this means. I've been feeling unwell for a while now.

NHS IVF refused due to low AMH
She also mentioned that my
iron
levels were high and didn’t ask if this could cause low AMH due to the upset. Do you think these could be related? She said the chance that IVF would work is very slim and I will unlikely achieve a pregnancy naturally.

Hormone Help
Also been prescribed
iron
as it’s obviously low, not sure what good it’s doing if I’m still losing blood every day. I figured I’ll give myself chance to see if the break and restart helps, as I know it can take a while for your body to acclimatise.

I think Tramadol has caused my RLS
I was refused an infusion but given
iron
tablets that have aggravated my IBS. I had my second blood test today so hopefully it'll have gone up. Does anyone know the timescale for raising the level? I've been trying to eat
iron
-rich food but only manage one
iron
tablet a day.
