my doctor gave me some liquid
iron
but test results show it's not being absorbed, neither are zinc supplements. I am due to speak to a gastroenterologist in december but am appalled at the lack of treatement I'm receiving. I have found some
iron
/vitamic C patches online.

Cortisol tests
My
iron
& B12 are good, working on increasing vit D. I'm still tired/fatigued in the afternoon but since the last increase I am sleeping 7-9hour overnight, incredible. I generally feel much brighter than I did, more myself, and I'm due another Armour increase soon.

Statins
I get a three monthly blood test for
iron
overload but this week the doctor advised me to get a cholesterol blood test as well. All of my results for cholesterol were within the ranges but my doc advised that it’s recommended I go on statins as my Qrisk2 score was above 20%.

Restless Leg - Interesting Article
Article says
is not getting across the BBB. Wonder if helps with PD. They are trying to sell, but Interesting . I already take some of the things mentioned. Says I need Lactobacillus plantarum 299. My probiotic has Lactobacillus plantarum but does not state 299.

Thyroid results-Hashimotos?
Been supplementing
iron
/b12 over six months to see if improved anything but hasn't impacted results. I didn't take them for a week prior to testing latest bloods. Does this look like Hashimotos? Is there anything I can do to improve or manage?

Help please with blood test results
. - 22.0) Serum ferritin level 17 ng/mL; (13-150ng/mL Serum vitamin B12 >2000pg/mL (197.0 - 771.0) above high reference limit she is aware of her anemia and she has regular b12 injections and I believe she is on an
iron
supplement. But why is her TSH in good range and free t4 level low?

pregabalin vs buprenorphine
My main complaint is the difficulty involved in cutting the strips into eighths (that dose seems to work for me if I avoid sweets and take
iron
). A minor issue, for sure, in the grand scheme of things. I’m fatigued on the Suboxone, and have mild itching.

Make sure your
iron
levels, all *4*
iron
parameters, are where they are supposed to be in the RLS world. If you believe or have been told that your
iron
is "normal" or "within limits" or "OK" it very well may not be. Get tested the right way and be sure to overnight fast.

b12 iron relationship?
I had my
iron
tested twice over the summer, both well in the good range (over 100). However, this week I had an
iron
panel showing my
iron
is 40 (literally the bottom of the range), ferritin is 14 (low bound of the range is 16) and % sat is 10 (low bound is 15).

Low hemoglobin
Got my labs today and hemoglobin was 6.8 so they gave me Mircera and
iron
. When I did PD I got Mircera and
iron
but never a transfusion. Does hemodialysis cause worse low hemoglobin? I’m concerned that when I’m able to get back on the transplant list my antibodies will be high.

Iron infusion & over symptoms
Hey all,I was wondering if anyone experienced thyroid overmedication symptoms after
iron
IV? It's day 3 today, I have much better energy, but also feel jittery and hot at times. I assume
iron
is making the cellular absorption better and increases conversion.

HELP before speaking to GP tomorrow!
Is there any reason why I would be borderline or on the lower range of Ferritin despite having good
Iron
levels? None of this really shows why I have such debilitating fatigue. Google suggests Vitamin D deficiency causes bone issues but not fatigue. Any help would be so appreciated.

Switching to NDT or adding T3?
I had reduced my
iron
supplements (
iron
bisglycinate) because my test in September had the
iron
at the very top of the range. I have now gone back to the high dose. I think the fluctuation can be explained by the dose change and the fact that the latest test was taken at the end of my period.
