Embarking on the IVF road.
So after 4 years and multiple attempts with gonal f, an operation and a misscarraige we had a consultation today with the Dr after I over responded (again) this round. The Dr said we could either try a couple more rounds of ovulation induction seeing as it has worked once or we could start the IVF journey

He, Dic Carlson, Another suggestion...
Have you tried or looked into info on Lithium orotate? (This is the mineral form of lithium, not the drug form of lithium carbonate.) Dr. Jonathan Wright has written about it, and here are a few others. There is a lot of info on using lithium orotate, and of course, there is always what people say

Big news for SCA3. Citalopram.
If you have a diagnosis of SCA3 but are not symptomatic then I suggest buying and printing out these research reports and taking them to your doctor. Keep in mind this is only in animal research and very often what works in animals turns out to be less efficacious in humans. The flip side to that is

Hi, Has anybody found a solution to sleepless nights from long term intake of Prednisone. Sleeping pills made me so drowsy and tired that I felt the whole day like a sumby. Tried Magnesium and Valerian drops, but still woke up every hour and couldn't go back to sleep. Thanks

Has anyone tried Hydroxyzine?
I am halfway to my goal to get off Mirapex (every two weeks I cut 1/4 of a .5mg pill so I am now at .75mg). I have started LDN (began with 1ml and every 10 days I add .5ml so I am now at 2.5ml). I also add a toke of mj before bed. And I have been taking herbals to get rid of SIBO. I don't know if it

Feeling awful.
I feel so tired/fatigued. soreness all over my back down to my waist. It's like a sunburn prickly feeling. Had to remove my bra. I feel so fed up and useless. Aching and feel so weak. I am on gabapentin which I thought was for the soreness feeling which I assume are the nerve endings. My immflamation

Flecainide side effects
After weaning off of Toprol and feeling sooo much better as a result, I had a lovely day on Saturday socializing with an Art & Nature group at a local park. I was so grateful for the experience of just being out in nature, meeting new people who are kind and lovely, and enjoying the day. I've had a hard

After recovery from rhabdomyolysis
Hi there! I was unable to walk for one week during a bout of exertional rhabdomyolysis from too much cycling. Has anyone else suffered from this? I now know I have increased susceptibility to rhabdo due to an underlying condition of malignant hyperthermia. A doctor advised I should do more aerobic exercise

A retired GP!
I too am a retired GP, and knew very little about RLS until I had it and began to read about it. It started very mildly in My 30s and gradually became very severe. My son, who is a consultant neurologist in Oxford, suggested I start on Premipexine, which was the accepted treatment at that time, and it

Transcutaneous electrical stimulation unit
Has anybody had a chance to use a TENS unit? Transcutaneous electrical stimulation does something to the muscles which is supposed to help with pain of all kinds. I've got one on right now and it definitely does something to the restless, horrible, creepy feeling but I'm not sure if I'll be able to

TAPERING - CAUGHT BETWEEN THE 'DEVIL' AND THE 'DEEP BLUE SEA'
Greetings Everyone I realise I am raising again possibly 'THE' (most) perennial' question we tackle here on the forum - that of the speed at which to taper. My particular problem - which I have mentioned here recently is that i have developed a rather insidious side effect of pred which I was not really

How do you keep busy mentally, physically, socially etc... to help manage loneliness, self-worth?
This has been a big test of of character I’m sure for all of us. I’ve tried to find ways to stay active mentally and all other ways to beat depression, loneliness and self-worth! What do you do on good days? On bad days? On good days, I try and do the things I love! I listen to music, sing along!

Unable to sleep
Hello friends. Poor sleep quality is getting to me. I go to bed tired but am unable to get off to sleep for hours...Last night I only had about one hour. The quality of sleep is also not the same. It's a very superficial sort of sleep, unsatisfying and restless. I take 13 mg of pred in the morning and

Horrible Leg pain following Rituxan
Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone has had an issue with increased pain following their Rituxan infusions? I am in excruciating pain from my groin to my toes on the right side and my muscles are stiff. I don’t know what it is. I’ve taken my Tylenol ER, BC Arthritis, Dexamethasone today and nothing
