Hello! I was wondering if anyone had dealt with non-stop SUPER heavy periods with their PCOS?? I’m currently on month three of taking myo-inositol … results are yet to show themselves to me haha Also I’m waiting on a referral via the GP because I’m 27 now and want to have a baby in the next 5ish

B2 benefits for PD
I’ve basically done this same study I’ve linked to in this post since the first of December. 50 mg of b2 every 8 hours and no red meat. The study is 30 mg dose but I can’t find it. My b2 was very low. The test was very expensive but worth it to know. However with no side effects and being very cheap

Inositol & Cycle Lengths
Has anyone's cycle length shortened since taking Inositol? My cycle lengths are normally between 27 - 29 days but I started taking supplements at the start of January and I've now had a 23 and 21 day cycle. The Zita West Inositol & Folate is the only new supplement I've introduced that's different to

Can I Reduce The Symptoms of ADHD Taking These Supplements?
Hi everyone, I am diagnosed with ADHD last week. My psychiatrist prescribed me Strattera (Atomoxetine). I have heart arryhtmia and learned that it is not recommended to use Straterra if you have heart arryhtmia. Also I learned that sudden deaths and stroke have been reported in adults taking atomoxetine

pco fertility clinic referral
hello, I’m 29 and have been diagnosed with PCO / possible PCOS. I do not have regular periods, 2/3 a year. I have a thin lining and low progesterone. I’ve done numerous bloods and looks like I am not ovulating on my own. I’m currently taking metformin but starting at only 1/2 a tablet a day as I really

PHYTATE (IP-6) may have therapeutic potential in BCP crystal-associated musculoskeletal syndromes. [Might reduce bone spurs?]
This is speculative, but I want to make a note of it. I'm researching IP-6 (also called phytate, phytic acid, or Inositol hexaphosphate). I’m interested in it for a number of reasons, including its benefits for Parkinson’s disease (which I have) and as an anti-cancer therapy. What about osteoarthritis

Inositol and Pregnancy
Hi all, I've been taking inositol for just over a year and it has really helped me with some of my more challenging PCOS symptoms. I've also been undergoing IVF during this time and have had all my embryos frozen. We're hopefully about to start my first frozen embryo transfer cycle this month and I don't

Timings of taking vitamins/supplements
This time I have a question about vitamins and supplements. I'm currently taking quite a cocktail in order to sort out my thyroid and because I'm trying to conceive. But I'm confused about which to take when, and which together/not together. This is my current routine: First thing/middle of the night

IP6 + Inositol seems to be working for me.
Following recommendations from folks in this support group, I’ve been taking
IP6
+
Inositol
since mid-January, 2022. My PSA rise has stopped and dropped to a stable level over the last several months.

B2, MTHFR, OCD, B12, Inositol
It’s been a long time since I posted, I’m trying to overcome my OCD about PD, but I want to share what I’ve found. I have Parkinson’s for sure. I was in denial for a long time. But, I have also a MTHFR 677T gene variant that means I only use at maximum 15% of normal folate. I bet that is common in

Myo-inositol & anxiety
I stumbled on this article via the Thyroid Pharmacist Dr Isabel Wentz on the use of Myo-inositol for anxiety. I’m curious if anyone here has tried using it, & how was the outcome if so? What dosage and brand? Etc. Thanks in advance for your input! https://thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/myo-inositol-and-hashimotos

Hi everyone, Wondering if anyone could help my decipher my results again? For context, I am 41 and trying to conceive. These are follow up tests to the ones I had in September (which I will attach in a separate post). I took the advice from this forum following those results and have been supplementing

Two natural substances seem to help subclinical hypothyroidism
Make of this paper what you will. It claims that myo-inositol and selenium therapy can normalise TSH in subclinical hypothyroidism. I just mention it because it could possibly differentiate those with temporary SCH and those who are firmly on their way to overt hypothyroidism. Front. Endocrinol., 16

Thinking out loud
Im now thinking that the severe dry mouth and dehydration could be caused by diabetes . Maybe when I added levothyroxine my body started getting rid of insulin too fast... I've heard hypothyroidism, diabetes and celiac happen together a lot. I only had one test where my glucose was in the pre diabetic

What has helped me lately
Hi all, It's been a while, but I wanted to come back and share some things that have been helping with my Hashimoto's lately. I last posted five months ago when I was all over the place with my thyroid med dose, feeling like I was taking too much, so I started taking too little, and had trouble increasing
