OT (ish).... Low transthyretin and high homocysteine
Well first of all my life has gotten so boring I finished this 1500 pieces jigsaw puzzle in five days ... Been on iodine, B12, iron and EAA. Good news is that my TSH and fT4 normalised on iodine. But my fT3 actually dropped which they consider as a sign of DI02 issues and iodine deficiency pushed

Levothyroxine to prevent cancer
My girlfriend had never tested positive for thyroid disorders but, she had a large thyroid nodule (~ 9 x 3 cm) and the left side of her thyroid removed a few years ago. They discovered a micro-carcinoma in her left thyroid. She has been put on 125mg levothyroxine in order to suppress thyroid function

Is it essential to have a prescription for NDT
My case is 40 years old and have suffered with brain fog and other problems for all this time. Diagnosed with Overactive Thyroid in 1994 received RAI made me worse and it is obvious that I am not going to get the support I need from my GP or Endo. I consider it a waste of time

Need help
In March of 2017, I took a bladderwrack/seamoss supplement for 1 week that agitated my thyroid. After going to see endo learned that my preexisting thyroid nodual had increased in size to 1.2 cm. Subsequently after multi tests and biopsy I learned that I had papillary thyroid cancer. On October 30

Hi
Hi received my test results today: TSH <0.01 (0.27-4.2) FT4 13. (12-22) FT3. 4.6. (3.1) Which are roughly the same as 12 months ago. I replaced Levo with thiroid about 2 years ago and have been slowly increasing the dose until I felt well-I am now on 4 grains and have been for a year but was getting

Need advice regarding dosage and labs on NDT
Hello to everyone, this is my first post here. I was diagnosed with micro papillary with follicular variant in April of 2007 and underwent a TT followed by 209 mCi RAI. I've been on various doses of synthroid for the past 10.5 years. Most recently, I switched to NDT ERFA on August 11, 2017 from 175mcg

Pain 3 months after TT
Hi, I had TT and 59 lymph node removal, approx 3 months ago and RAI a month ago. My neck is sore as the numbness is beginning to wear off, around my jaw especially. I have tried every painkiller known to man. If anyone has any suggestions they would be gratefully received.

5 weeks post RAI
Had RAI treatment 5 weeks ago. I should have had it much sooner as my symptoms ( all 1000)) of them raged on even with Antithyroid meds for months. My most recent bloods have shown improvement. Since Grave’s original diagnosis my TSH now registers 0.01, T4 1.7 and T3 is 3.4.. see my Endo this week and
