Hi I’ve just joined and struggling to find my way around so excuse me if I mess it up.

I have had fibromyalgia for many years. I believe it’s all linked to having my thyroid RAI destroyed.

I feel dreadful and struggle most days . I refuse to give up and give in so I often reach bad flare ups when I’m forced to stop . So looking forward to chatting to you all and supporting each other .

Hi Lin26 I think a lot of sufferers find they developed fibro after some kind of physical or emotional trauma so I am sure there will plenty of others who will empathise with you. In the meantime welcome to the forum, you will find lots of help and support from our friendly members. In addition there is lots of useful information and links on our main site so you may like to take a look at this:

Also I notice you haven’t locked your post. You don't have to do this but you are likely to receive more replies if you do as many of our members are not keen on responding to unlocked ones, as they can be accessed by people outside the community. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Take care x

Hi welcome to forum

welcome and hugs xx

Can’t see how to lock. I think I have to leave altogether as I seem to have log in every time to see a reply and respond and it seems unsafe . And it’s plagued with adverts . Not what I thought it would be . Shame ! 😢
