Stroke survivors with Endometriosis?
Hi, today I saw a consultant Gynaecologist who told me I have Endometriosis and a large Hydrosalpinx ... he said normally they would like to operate to remove my fallopian tube and ovary and surgery to treat my Endometriosis along with hormonal contraceptives. However, as soon as he realised that I had

Iodine raises TSH
Maybe we should gargle with
iodine
before our blood tests if our doctor is in a panic about our low TSH?

The longer the antithyroid drug is used, the lower the relapse rate in Graves' disease: a retrospective multicenter cohort study in Korea
Many have reported here that they have received an antithyroid medicine for a long period (whether carbimazole or propylthiouracil). However, long-term use of an anti-thyroid medicine is frequently denied. There is often considerable pressure to choose RAI or thyroidectomy. Of course, if the patient

History of iodine, cretinism, hypo etc
Another 50 years later, autoimmune thyroiditis was ascertained as the most frequent cause of hypothyroidism (in areas with no
iodine
deficiency).

Alive regarding pain relief please
Hi just looking for a bit of advice for analgesia. I've got NAFLD cirossis stage 4. I am suffering at the moment with a flare up of diverticulitis and need to take analgesia. I know NSAID's are a no no , but codeine is that ok ? I've looked around for info but not really found an answer.

Overactive Thyroid
Hi, just been reading everyone's comments about RAI or surgery and I am shocked that I have a choice I was told I only had the 2 options and that staying on carbizmole 5mg was not an option. I now know I am being forced by my hospital rather than being given a choice. So glad I found your posts

Salivary glands
I had RAI in july last year and now have a swollen face and neck ob one side indicating possible gland blocked. Is it common to get this 9 months after RAI or is it unrelated? Anyone had this experience?

ANA Positive 1:80 Nucleolar pattern 2013 and ongoing pain. The last 5 weeks I can barely walk.
I paid privately for another ANA test and awaiting the results which should be with me today. I have Hashimotos, B12 Deficiency with positive Gastric Parietal Cell Abs but no diagnosis of Pernicious Aneamia. For the past 8 years I’ve been back and forth to my GP with mainly pain in my lower joints,

Looking for adhesion pain advice
Hello to you reading this 💛 I was diagnosed 2018, 4 laparoscopies (2 bodged NHS and 2 private excision). I am now left with painful adhesions in my pelvis where Endometriosis was removed. Neck rash - what's causing it? What can ease it?
Underwent radioactive
iodine
therapy about 4 years ago to 'kill' part of the thyroid. Subsequently went into minor hypothyroidism which was treated for 6 months with carbimazole. Past 2-years of thyroid tests show everything is 'OK'.

Newbie, not on medication, seeks advice on Pineal gland - decalcifying and activating (e.g. Joe Dispenza, meditation, vibration etc.) please
The suggested approach using
iodine
and fulvic acid etc. to detox is a little daunting, but may be something that others have successfully undertaken to improve their sleep and symptoms. Basically any suggestions, resources, advice or insight will be gratefully received.

Neck resection and thyroidectomy
I had a left hemi thyroidectomy 3 years ago and 3 doctors at the time felt that was sufficient. My latest US shows papillary cells in the lymph nodes on the left and central neck. I am scheduled for a left lymph node resection and removal of the right remaining thyroid at Mt Sinai on 4/20. I am so nervous

Opinion please on possible Pleurisy
I was diagnosed with Pleurisy 3 weeks ago. Symptoms were fever, chills, aching and horrendous middle back pain, tight chest. GP said he could not hear any sounds with stethoscope and I had no cough but prescribe antibiotics. I was still left with the back pain and my chest is tight and particularly

Endocrinologist advice and T3 reaction
Hi there again, hope you are all well. I am looking for some recommendations and advice if possible please. So I started taking t3 alongside t4 in February (after some help from this forum) building the dose up slowly to 20mg a day alongside 100mg of Levo. I had a bad skin reaction mainly on my face
