Medication and general care concerns
Hello to all. I was diagnosed with having a degenerative disease of my lumbar spine back in July 2011. Which has been life changing. When I say I have had all treatments I really have. I have been through and exhausted the pain clinics on two occasions. I have had extensive Physiotherapy, Accupunture

Help
I don’t seem to tolerate levothyroxine so been using
iodine
and was doing fine on it for a while then started feeling not good. I’d used NDT for some months two years ago but hair started dropping and also tried T3 only but same with hair fall.

How you doing guys. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Was just wondering if I could get your thoughts on my latest bloods? This is after taking 125mcg levo and 12.5mcg Tiromel for two months. I still feel dreadful. I don’t think the T3 has done anything for me. I’ve read that if T3 doesn

Too many unanswered questions - Myxedema
For example, that taking
iodine
, if you are not tested to be low in it, can be harmful if you have hypothyroidism. For another thing, can a "poor converter" end up with myxedema? What if a patient presents as comatose and had high TSH and normal to high FT4?

IM IN A STATE OF CONFUSION! I desperately need help to understand and actions to take following recent blood results.
My GP reduced my levo thyroxine from 100mcg to 75mcg, at beginning of March, as my TSH was 0.13 (0.27-4.2)..... T4 was21.1 (12-22) T3 was 4.9 (3.1-6.8) Of course he thinks that TSH is the most important reading , 😡 and I hadn’t the energy to dispute it . Was supposed to be retested in 6 weeks but

After years on Pramipexole 0.75 mg long acting , the inevitable augmentation occurred and I got off it with great difficulty. Since that time, August 2019, I have had very little sleep. I had

Back pain - anyone got anything similar?
Ok, so here’s the story... 23rd June - woke up with pain in my left SI joint. Could literally pinpoint it to that spot. I’ve had a sore back before, but it was just muscle pain from overuse and was never over the SI joint. Standing and walking were both painful, and the pain disappeared when I sat or

tinnitus and hypothyroidism
Has anybody gotten tinnitus after RAI? Over the years, mine started mildly, disappeared, returned and now it's very loud. I've recently upped my dose of Tirosint from 75 to 88 mcg, thanks to great advice I got here. Is that a cause and it will pass? Could it be due to a vitamin deficiency? Anxiously

Got all my results- what to do next??
I now have all my results back and not sure what to do next? 2003 I had graves and then took RAI. I’ve currently been on 125mg Levothyroxine per day. I’m 42 and I feel awful, fatigue, weight gain, moods, lack of interest, brain fog... joints aches, neck pain- few to mention. I’m sick of feeling like
