Blood test protocol for T4 and T3 - help needed please
Hi, I’m sure I’ve read the protocol’s somewhere and I’ve searched but can’t find them. Can anyone help? I take levothyroxine (from GP) and liothyronine (privately sourced). After my trial of lio I’ve reduced my levo dose and it’s time to do blood test. I take the medications together and through

I’m currently on 125mcg of levothyroxine. Overall I’m feeling much better with most bothersome results now being constipation and intense itching which comes and goes. My doctors seem very reluctant to increase my levo and I’ve had to push for each increase so far. These are my recent results.

Is anyone in the group interested in genetic research about NASH?
We are working with Sano Genetics to encourage more research into the genetics that predispose someone to liver disease. As part of that they are convening a focus group to gather patient perspectives. We want to encourage the adoption of genetic testing as part of normal patient care. If you have

Ventricular Standstills
Hi I had a 24hr Holter test in December and found results on my NHS app. This showed 5 pauses from over 3 to 7.13 seconds and a second degree heart block type ll mainly 2:1 conduction. I have had twinges in my left chest and palpations for months. Put on delophine XL and twinges stopped after 3 weeks

Fatigued with anxiety
Hi, I have hypothyroidism which was diagnosed three years ago and am currently on Levothyroxine 100mg daily. My memory has improved to a more normal level but I wake up every morning barely able to open my eyes and in work I am able to function, but I lack sharpness and feel detached, almost like I am

Perplexing results. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts?
I was wondering if any one had any thoughts on my results I’m 14 years post RAI and have been on levothyroxine for 8 years and I seem to be very sensitive to dose change. I don’t have thyroid antibodies just a toxic adenoma. They run my T4 higher around 19- 22 for conversion for T3, my consultant

T3-4-Hypo trial - Netherlands
Do view the original which includes a map and various links. 16 to 20 months is so much more sensible than the few weeks so many previous studies have been based on. [i]

Hello. This is my first post, although I’ve been lurking here for a while and have been gradually increasing my Levo dose by following the advice on this forum. Awful taste in mouth - is this a Sjogren's thing?
Hello - I'm new here! I'm not diagnosed with Sjogren's though I'm fairly sure I have it. I've had symptoms for around 15 years, and I have a family history of RA (with hindsight, I think my mum had Sjogren's too, not just RA, as she had a lot of the dryness symptoms). I've got all the usual symptoms

Blood test results advice since starting T3
Just got my medichecks results through. Tests taken pre 9am, fasted with delayed T4 and split T3 dose as per protcol. To recap, I added 1 x 5mcg T3 for the first time about 8 weeks ago. Endo told me to reduce my thyroxine from 125 x 6/100x1 . I didnt do this, but reduced half way and have been taking

T4 in NDT
I wondered if anyone know how the T4 in NDT works. Each grain contains about 38/39 T4 but does it works the same as Levo i.e. taking weeks to work? I am now starting back on NDT with no thyroid and a very low FT3 and I am thinking of adding some T3 to it until the T4 in the grains start to work. I
