Hard to describe but it is almost like my body has electric shocks jabbing all different places, cannot put your finger on any particular thing. Electric like stinging pains along nerve paths- touch my calf and bingo shoots right up tp rib cage. I know the PA can cause thisand I am normally have a much higher reading which I need to feel reasonably well - 1476 - in 2020 was the last blood test I had done for that, it has stayed at that for quite a number of years till now. That is very different.
The inflamation does not surprise me, my right leg is giving me jip, foot and calf swollen with a 5" red band from ankle to mid calf. Had this a few years ago with other leg but not as bad, had to buy larger size foorwear then, it cleared up after a few months. This time quite painful, for me to say that means very painful for others as I have a high pain tolerance.
Trying to think what I can do to rectify the situation, GPs useless so picking your brains. I know when Hashi is rearing its head but this is a bit heavy handed, Take selenium daily plus other supplements.
Having an iron status profile done as I cannot take iron supplements for other reasons.
Sorry grey goose I am not much help but I just soldier on and am thankful I am still independant so tend to ignore a lot and chin up sort of way. If the leg was not giving problems i would just ignore the results, up my weekly SI and see what happens.
I really don't think those episodes have anything to do with Hashi's per se. Maybe a hypo symptom, I don't know. But, a Hashi's 'flare' is when you go suddenly hyper due to the dying cells leaking their store of hormone into the blood. Otherwise known as a Hashi's 'hyper' swing. But, that doesn't sound like a hyper symptom.
Agree but could not think of anything else, till I checked the B12 as i was replying to you - that is a big drop for me so am wondering if I rectify that maybe things might settle. I have a gut feeling my iron needs a good look at also. I did think my Thyroid levels were quite reasonable. Thank you for checking in for me, very much appreciated this end.
Never gave that a thought, also my B12 is far too low for mr which I did not notice before I put in my request. I do not have vaccinations so that is one I can at least rule out.
