iron test results

Hello. This is my first post, although I’ve been lurking here for a while and have been gradually increasing my Levo dose by following the advice on this forum. I’m not quite where I want to be yet, but definitely getting there. I’ve also been struggling with my vitamin and ferritin levels, so have started taking supplements as recommended. My vitamin levels are showing improvement, but I wanted to have a full iron panel before supplementing ferritin. These results have come back, and I wonder if someone would please help me interpret them? I don’t want to get this bit wrong after finally starting to see results with my thyroid levels! Thank you.

Well done, yes this shows you are in need of adding iron to your regime as I'm guessing you have tried the dietary route, chicken liver pate etc? Heme or Iron Bisglycinate are effective and more gentle on your system

Getting iron levels sorted often makes a big difference

Thanks for replying. That’s really helpful. I do eat plenty of iron rich food, so will add in some supplements now. Presumably start off quite low and test again in a few months?

Hi,

Several of us are seeing good results with this product threearrowsnutra.com/en-uk/...

It’s very gentle and seemingly well-absorbed. The website is a veritable cringe-fest and it only ships from the States, but, it’s really very good.

TiggerMe , do you recall what the discount code is?

I think 20mg a day is a pretty standard dose... yes re-test in 6 months
