Ventricular Standstills

Hi

I had a 24hr Holter test in December and found results on my NHS app. This showed 5 pauses from over 3 to 7.13 seconds and a second degree heart block type ll mainly 2:1 conduction.

I have had twinges in my left chest and palpations for months. Put on delophine XL and twinges stopped after 3 weeks. I am taking Docusate and Laixdo daily for chronic constipation and requested a investigation on my gut. I have hemochromatosis and ferritin dropped to 14 with no venesection for over 2 years.

I have now been listed for an urgent pace maker but am worried how a pace maker will deal with 7.13 second pause please?

Many thanks for any information

it might be a good ide to call the BHF helpline and discuss with the cardiac nurses there.
