Keytruda - year 4
So I’m pretty much closing the book on my 4th year on Keytruda (pembroluzimab). I’ve recently completely my 33rd Pembro infusion. Keytruda was my Hail Mary after running through most other SOC. My PSA was rising while on chemo the second time when I found out I had the markers that made me eligible

IVIG - how soon does it benefit?
My husband - CLL, on Calquence since April 2021 - has begun a schedule of monthly IVIG, mainly because he had 2 life threatening infections late spring/early summer (staph that went rogue, followed by c. Diff thanks to months of antibiotics). His ID doc has said that the IG may likely have Covid antibodies

FDG+/PSMA- lesions
My dad has metastatic CRPC. Xtandi failed, but at the moment he is still on it as we evaluate possible treatment options. Today we received also results of PSMA PET CT - it it stated, that there are discrepancies (loss of PSMA expression) with at least 4 bone mets when compared to findings of FDG (

May be doing IV chemo for the first time. Need tips - really freaked out!
Hi, so I’ve successfully avoided doing IV chemo since 2019. But due to bone mets I just had hip surgery and the pills I’ve been on are not working. I was told by the surgeon 2 days ago that I need systemic treatment asap or I’ll die. I’m having a petscan tomorrow and depending on how it looks, I’ll

Recap and update
hi, Well today I had my scan results. Just to recap, I’m stage 4 snd IDS was not attempted due to significant disease remaining in mesentry. I’ve had 6 rounds of chemo now and was hoping to have debulking at this stage. However my MDT, having looked at scan have said no. I was still responding to treatment

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
Mr. Spouse 21, ten years since dx with Gleason 9 in 80% of cores, has only had bone and CT scans to track progression. That's how it was done in 2014. He's been stable since chemo with his current Eligard & Xgeva treatment--see full Profile for his record of Lupron, radiation, Zytiga (failed), Docetaxel

Introduction: Shaunjon, 47, I went through pelvic radiation in 2009. I have been through a lot, unnecessarily, unfortunately.
My profile kinda goes over the just of my situation. I've been through pelvic radiotherapy in 2009. Chemotherapy in 2014. I've learned a lot so feel free to ask anything. I have questions but nothing that important. In my situation, which would be considered pretty standard, I know without a doubt

Had a very brief scare there
As you can imagine I’ve been super paranoid about my hearing/ears since my mental health crisis back in May when I had a tinnitus worsening due to chemo, I never want to go back to that as long as I live. I was playing Final Fantasy XIV Online with some friends and randomly one of the people in the

My dad is on his 2nd cycle of TMZ (300mg)5 days on, 3 weeks off regime. He had GBM located on his left frontal lobe but due to size and depth could not be operated on. Therefore he had 3 weeks of radiotherapy along with 155mg daily TMZ. He has poor speech and his right arm is paralysed. However this

Stage 4
Hi just wanted to pop on and connect with others. I was diagnosed in March 2022, I’ve had 6 rounds of chemo and debulking surgery. Like many I was told it will come back 🤦♀️. So I decided to radically change my life (I didn’t have a healthy lifestyle prior to my diagnosis). There’s lots we can do to
