Chemo and diabetes
Does anyone have raised blood sugar levels as a result of taking steroids for chemotherapy? My doctor has increased my medication but my levels are still high. I wondered whether there's anything else that might help eg a particular diet. Thanks.

urethral constriction
Had chemo and then cystectomy 10 years ago. Last few years, kidney stones then UTIs, until lithotripsy for the stones. But have urethral constriction, so every 4 month I have stents put through my stoma. Has anyone heard of, or had the procedure done for the constriction using Optilume? Supposedly

Lowered CA125 and a nugget of hope 🙏
After 2 chemo sessions of carbo & taxol plus Avastin, my blood test level has reduced from 750 to 586 which is the first positive news I have received since diagnosis mid December 👏 it has given me a huge boost! My CT scan is Tuesday 20 Feb to see if my huge mass has shrunk enough for surgery, if so

First post and learning as much as possible
Hi My husband is 59 and I have added as much info to my Bio as possible about him and this journey. We just found out yesterday that he is BRCA2 positive from blood germline testing. This is the first time I have posted but I have been reading everything several times a day for a few months now. He

My CLL has Transformed
Finally had a pet scan on May 28 which showed extensive transformed disease above and below the diaphram with extensive head and neck disease, a pelvic mass and spleenomegaly. I am going for a biopsy next week to confirm diagnosis. If RT confirmed, then I will be admitted to Upenn for 5 days of intensive

Tumor Markers Trodelvy
Has anyone experienced tumor markers rising after 1st cycle of trodelvy?! Did they go back down after next cycle. Doc told me they could rise due to new chemo regimen and then they go back down because of tumor markers were overloaded. I’m a little worried. Internet says “Chemotherapy treatment can

Post 2nd line chemo options
Hi everyone. I was hoping I could ask for some information. I am supporting my Mum (76) who was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer almost two years ago, initially thought was stage 3c and as it had affected a lymph node it was then upgraded to stage 4. She was treated with Paclitaxel and carboplatin

7 days from BMT
Hi all, I know it's been a while since I posted. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm 7 days from transplant, and just had my first lot of chemo today. I will admit I'm scared that this won't work and I'll have done it all for nothing. I've been told my odds are good with a 10/10 sibbling match

Cabazitaxel - memory issues?
Anyone had "memory issues" with chemo? My oncologists disagree with each other on the risk of memory issues for me at age 73. I had some "normal" transient "brain fog" at age 66 with docetaxel. My memory is as good as it was decades ago. I don't see anything online about cabazitaxel causing memory issues
