Bowel symptoms
Hey, In hindsight I always had gynae symptoms but due to lack of knowledge didn't realise. By 2011 these were extreme. Was diagnosed with endo 2012 but think they didn't realise the extent of it. Had laser which now realise is mistake and mirena fitted. Things didn't really improve. In 2014 had another

Contraception after a baby
I’ve recently had a baby and I’m thinking about contraception. I don’t get on with progesterone only contraception so injection, implant and mini pill are out as is the progesterone coil. My choices seem to be at the moment the combined pill or the copper coil. What are people’s experiences of the

Decision time....
AF arrived today so technically I start the round 4 and last one of IUI... the only reason I’m doing a 4th round is I paid for the first one individually, then a package of 3. However I think I am going to give my body a break and go Straight to IVF. Have a review with my consultant next Friday as o

IUD help
Hello, I have been on the pill for a good 8 years, I recently got taken off my pill Yasmin by a doctor after them failing to do any check ups and realising I was at great risk by being in this pill. I was asking for help on what options I had as bad periods was the main reason I was on the pill originally

What if you’re pregnant already when you start IVF?
Hi all, This is probably a stupid question, but I’m going to ask anyway... So, our brief history is that we tried naturally for about 18mths, then told husband has a low sperm count and was referred for fertility treatment. First did 3 cycles of IUI, none of them worked. Then moved on to IVF. 20 eggs

Stem Cells!
My 22 year old son has Primary MF and one of his sisters is a 10/10 stem cell match for him - a wonderful thing for us all to hear after we discovered that a stem cell transplant is currently his only avenue for cure. My daughter is keen to raise awareness of the need for more people to register as

Pulsating in tummy where I had op
Hi - I had a laparoscopy last week for ovarian cyst removal and they found endometriosis. There was so much that they couldn’t remove it and I need another op. Also had a coil fitted. I have just felt really weird since and everything doesn’t feel right and don’t know why :( I have been light headed,

Hi, I’ve just had an ultrasound and the lady did it has told me I have 4 cysts (2 on each ovary) is this something normal to happen with endo please? And do they just leave them to settle or will it need further treatment she said one was pretty big? Sorry just a little worried caught me off guard as

Worried about Libido and mood swings
Hi there, I've posted this into another group, but feel this group might be more appropriate... I've been on the combined pill for years now and have noticed that I don't have much of a libidio. It appears when I take my weeks break but disappears again when I start taking the pill. I've tried a progesterone

I've tried a progesterone only pill before (a purple strip) and my mood swings were record breaking!! I was awful

Pupo
Hi everyone new to the forum! I am in a lucky position of being PUPO for the first time! We had one failed round of IUI and have moved onto IVF. I had a freeze all round due to OHSS RISK. And we got ourselves 7 Frosties! ❄️ I had one of them transferred yesterday. Hopeful, anxious and keeping an open

Pregnant after cancelled IVF cycle ⚠️
Can this actually be happening? My IVF cycle was cancelled as my follicles didn’t get over 11mm (all 7 of them) by day 10 & consultant said he expected as much with an AMH of 2.0 following surgery on my ovaries to remove large endometriomas. They gave me an IUI instead but it was never going to work

OTD was today, in my heart I knew it was a BFN before our weekend in Amsterdam but I stuck to it and didn’t drink, enjoyed time with friends and then tested this morning to have it confirmed. I’m Only at IUI number 3 but I’ve cried all day long I just feel so deflated and disappointed. But we pick ourselves

Copper coil!?!
So I had a copper coil fitted 5 days ago, and am really worried because the pain and bleeding they said may happen is WAY worse than what all advice websites are saying. I’ve had to take 3 days off work because of the pain, and now as the pain is dulling, I am bleeding so so heavily, completely filling

Poor responders to short antagonist (menopur+cetrotide) what did you change on your follow up round?
Hello all. On my IVF round I did the short antagonist protocol. Started stimulation with 300 menopur and on day 6 added centrotide (antagonist). My follicles where growing very slow and at the end we ended up stimming 13 days and got 4 eggs, 3 mature and fertilised which resulted to 1 day 5 blast (one
